Spotted: Jennifer Hudson and David’s Strollin’ Smiles

Beiny/Fu/WENN

Out for a walk!

After her stunning stop at the Oscars, hands-on mom Jennifer Hudson casually explores Beverly Hills Monday with 18-month-old son David.

“I’ve got the sweetest little baby in the world. He just got two new teeth, so he smiles with them now,” Hudson, 29, reveals. “He pokes them out there, like, ‘Look at my teeth.’”

David is Hudson’s only child with fiancé David Otunga.

I am so inspired by Jennifer Hudson after everything she has been through and how hard she worked and all the weight she lost. She has a great figure. The only negative is the hair! I am so not a fan of extensions. Ick.

David is sooo cute always smiling and love jennifer’s new look after everything she has been through …@ jillian thats not extensions thats a wig most likely a lace front wig..its gorgeous btw

- nelly on

She looks great and he is a doll! I can only imagine her pain & joy.

- Sat on

Jillian I am right there with you…can’t stand that hair…ugh! just go natural!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

- acorr on

My bad. Someone on another thread said it was extensions. I stand corrected….it is a wig. I don’t like it. Ick.

- Jillian on

She looks great. How come she and her fiance don’t get married? Isn’t that the point of being engaged? You know…engaged to be married? I guess it doesn’t matter, it’s just odd to me.

- Emily on

She looks healthy, happy and that what celebrity actresses/singers do with their looks, they work with the beauty pros to advise them, they earn extra money and favors by doing favors with their looks, and they get to try looks! She looks good in this photo. When you are engaged you get to marry when you set the date when you want! Ask Naomi Watts,
Ask Isla Fisher, and so many other engaged to be married someday folks!
Stay happy Jen! You do what is best for you!

- Joyful on

@Emily- Have you talked to Jennifer lately? How do you know they aren’t getting married tomorrow? You don’t! Stop judging their decisions. They’ll get married when they’re ready or never at all. Sometimes things don’t work out. I think it’s smarter for them to make sure it’s right between them than rush into a marriage that they’re not sure about & put David Jr. through a divorce later in life.

- musiclover on

Emily they will probably have their wedding when it suits them and not everyone else.

i totally applaud jennifer for losing all that weight, she looks great. however, i agree the hair, whether it’s extensions or a wig or whatever, looks horrible. not my thing. other than she is looking good!

- JM on

what stroller is that?

- ali on

Musiclover, look up the definition of “judging”. Engagements lasting years baffles me, the end. Like I said, it does not matter, I just dont get it. no need to get defensive.

- Emily on

@ Joyful actually Sascha and Isla are married
It was reported that they were married before the birth of their second daughter. It was just a uiet ceremony for the uber private couple.

- Ashley on

I don’t like the fact that Jen lost so much weight, I thought that her fuller figure looked much better.

- Nicky on

musiclover- I’m a bit confused by your comments. If they decide things are “not right for them” and split without getting married, they’ll still be putting David Jr. through the ordeal of his parents separting. How is that any different than putting him through a divorce?

Anyway, I wonder what will happen first….A wedding between Jennifer and David or baby number two for them? :)

- CelebBabyLover on

@Emily: Last I checked, Isla Fisher is already married. They got married March 15, 2010 in Paris and the reason it was barely mentioned in the US because they’re known to be a private couple just like Javier Bardem & Penelope Cruz who keep their personal lives private from the media.

Plus I don’t claim to know any celebrities or the reasons for long engagements but I know friends who have a long engagement because of financial reasons, trying to finish school or simply their lives are too full to get married. True, you can go to a JP but I think for the most part they would like an actual wedding. Just my thought anyway.

She looks fab and he is so so cute!

The stroller looks like a Stokke Xplory/evo…fab buggies!

Re: her hair, with her current schedule it would be difficult to maintain a natural look. She probably is natural and the hair we see is a protective style ensuring no damage is done to her hair underneath. Please remember hair is a super political big deal with People of Color.

- Keis on

Emily – I agree on the engaged forever thing espically after they have kids. Just get married already! I think it’s because they got pregnant and it makes it look better than just dating, don’t bash me for my opinion people.

- Amanda on

Nicky, I completely agree, to me she looks too skinny now. Her face looks drawn. But, I think I have a bias. I was very overweight, lost tons of weight but I am now “regular” sized. not plus sized and not skinny. I just think she can add back 15-20 pounds and soften her look a little bit.

Either way, I love her and David is sooo cute :)

- miameows on

I’m sure a wedding is coming soon. Especially with her shedding all the weight. Most women want to “look their best” on their wedding day. Lose tons of weight then gain it all back after the wedding.

- M on

How in the world can anyone think Jennifer looks underweight???? She’s much healthier now and should be applauded!

- dsfg on

Meh- I’m confused? I didn’t mention Isla in either of my posts.

- Emily on

Meh- That was joyful who mentioned Isla, not Emily.

M- I don’t know why, but if Jennifer and David DO get married soon, I have a feeling she’ll keep the weight off. :)

- CelebBabyLover on

She looks very good thinner! But the hair is to long, it makes her look THINNER, drags her face down.

- erilynne on

@emily- Here ya go! judg·men·tal (jj-mntl) adj.
1. Of, relating to, or dependent on judgment: a judgmental error.
2. Inclined to make judgments, especially moral or personal ones: a marriage counselor who tries not to be judgmental

If they want to be engaged for 20 yrs that’s their PERSONAL choice.

@celebbabylover- No, it’s not the same. A breakup and a divorce are two very different things.
