After announcing in December that she would be leaving The Biggest Loser to concentrate her efforts on starting a family, the fitness trainer is finally eyeing the finish line of her goal.
“I want to start a family,” she tells Access Hollywood.
“I’d like to take a year off of television and really focus on — I’m in the middle of the adoption process — and really focus on that and hopefully becoming a mother in the next year and putting all my energy into that for awhile.”

As a 63-year-old pop legend, you’d figure Elton John had seen it all. And yet he says the joy and novelty of being a first-time father to new son Zachary Jackson Levon has left him a “gibbering wreck.”
“He’s only five weeks old, just over five weeks old, but in those five weeks, you can’t imagine how much love has come out of that little boy for us, and us for him, and it’s been incredible,” the singer tells the British TV show Daybreak on ITV1.
John adds: “I knew it would be incredible, but honestly I’d be lying if I said I hadn’t been so shocked. I’m like a gibbering wreck in front of him. I mean, I just sit there and make up songs and sing to him in gibberish. I’m very good at gibberish now.”

With her daughter due this month, Melissa Rycroft enjoys a night out in her hometown with Tye Strickland on Saturday evening.
The Bachelor alum, 27, and her husband attended Maxim‘s pre-Super Bowl bash, held at Centennial Hall at Fair Park in Dallas, Texas.
The following night, the Green Bay Packers went on to beat the Pittsburgh Steelers 31-25 in Super Bowl XLV.
