I really enjoy spending time on Facebook but I don’t like it enough to want to name my child after it!

I agree, Tee! I would have never of thought to name my child that.

I wouldn’t name my child Facebook either! On another note, the elevator story made me do a double-take, because a friend of mine was also born in a hospital elevator!

That’s because you guys are English speakers and the word facebook actually has a meaning to you. Facebook to someone else really would be a sound or a foreign word. I actually think it’s quite cute, if they DON’T move to a western english-dominant country lol. I don’t see it being any different than people naming their kids ‘liberty’ or ‘honor’.

It doesn’t have anything to do with them spending time on Facebook. They named their daughter that because of the pivotal role Facebook played in their country’s revolution. Facebook is how the rebels were able to coordinate protests.

"We weren't trying to have kids. We left it up to fate. I knew there was a possibility, but I was really excited. Even if you are trying, just to see a positive result is shocking!"
