Congratulations to Tom, Mieke, Ace, and Rio! I’m not a huge fan of the name Koa, but it fits right in with his brothers!

- Taylor on

congrats to them! How do you pronounch Koa? I’ve never heard of that name before?

- Allison J on

i actually like all their kid’s names. proof that names can be unusual and don’t have to sound ridiculous. congrats to them.

- JM on

allison, i think some celeb’s baby’s name is nokoa wolf. can’t remember who it was though… but koa reminds me of that. i would pronounce it just like ‘noah’, just with the k in the beginning.

- Jaedyn on

in the Hawaiian language the word koa means warrior.

- spence on

i LOVE his name. and the other boys names but Koa is Amazing! Is on my top choices for my baby boy now :) iv always loved Noah but im loving this!

Congrats to their family!I like their children’s names also. They are unique and cute! Plus I like that all the names go with each other.

Spence, I was just about to say the same thing. I love the 3 letter theme. The names are fantastic! Congrats to the entire family!

- LWR on

The name is Hawaiian and it means brave, bold, and fearless http://www.alohafriendsluau.com/names_traditional.html

I love it! It is unique without being bizarre like some names that I have heard! Congrats to mom, dad, and big brothers!!

- Kylee on

Love all three names!

- Stella Bella on

@Jaedyn – thank you!

- Allison J on

Anyone else notice that Koa is A-OK backwards? Is that a coincidence or planned, I wonder? You never know with these creative sorts! Congrats on a healthy baby!

- Leonora on

Pretty sure its not “creative”, they went for the Hawaiian name Koa which means warrior. I’d pronounce it similarly to Dakota, minus the “t”.

- Macy on

Koa is cool name for a boy. It’s a Hawaiian name meaning “brave one”. Good job!

I was sorting of hoping for another No-Doubt baby girl (since Coco is the only one so far), but I love the name! Congrats to them!

- CelebBabyLover on

Those are some very interesting names in the No Doubt family.

- Terri on

My son is three months old. I named him Koa as well. It’s such a strong, beautiful name!!

- Kanessa on

The name also reminds me of Koa Guitars, so it’s a fitting choice for a musician : ) Love it, not stupid but not boring either.

- Isabelle on

Anyone know which of the two older boys is in the picture in this post? And where I can see a picture of the other older boy?

- CelebBabyLover on

After Adrian Young and his wife losing their baby so far along in their pregnancy, I am sure this was a hard pregnancy and nervous for everyone. My friend lost her baby in her 6th month, so when I was pregnant shortly after it was very emotional and nerve wrecking for me. I am happy that they had a healthy baby. It is times like this that I don’t think the gender of the baby matters….when you lose a baby that is born stillborn that is very difficult on those close to you.

Congrats on a beautiful healthy bay to the whole No Doubt Family!
