Sandra Bullock holds on tight to her constant sidekick, son Louis Bardo, 1, while stepping out in New York’s West Village neighborhood on Monday.
The actress, 46, is settling in to begin shooting on her next film, the drama Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close.

This picture gave me goosebumps. When there are black families who choose not to adopt brown or dark skinned children, it makes me so happy to see them placed in loving families irrespective of race. And I’m black, so please don’t jump on me for this.

Sophia- What do you mean by singly? A snowsuit? Anyway, Louis is adorable! I’m a bit surprised Sandra went back to work so quickly, though. From what she said after adopting Louis, I got the impression that she was going to savor motherhood for quite a long time before returning to work. Not critcizing her in anyway. I’m perfectly fine with the fact that she’s back to work. Just making an observation.

I love seeing them together but she does need to invest in something, you are right Sophia and Jacqui. She always looks all disheveled.
She took a little over a year off…..that is more than many celebrity moms. And she is raising him alone, so I am surprised she stayed off this long. Good job Sandra! Can’t wait until your new movie comes out!

Meghan, The parenting is up to Sandra….Thank goodness she is doing it on her own and not with that loser! No one is trying to “parent” her child. Just having a discussion….that is the point of this page

She can barely hold on to him! She looks like she’s about to drop him. Very awkward photo. She doesn’t appear natural like a mother should be with her child. Sandra looks like the nanny.

Sienna, she looks like every other mother in the world. Maybe she was in the process of moving him to her other side or something. It is an awkward photo and who knows what was going on at that moment. She IS a natural mother. And as for the all the onesie comments, it looks like he has a t-shirt on that was tucked in. Yes, I agree onesies are the best way to go, but she’s Louis’ mother and she loves him and I’m sure she is taking amazing care of him.
