Jenna Fischer Wants Kids More Since Becoming an Aunt

Anthony/Pacific Coast News

Jenna Fischer has babies on the brain.

That’s not too surprising, considering her character, Pam, on The Office and her sister Emily both had kids recently — which got Fischer thinking more about becoming a mom herself.

“I already wanted kids, but even more so now,” the actress, 36, tells Redbook in its March issue, on newsstands Feb. 15.

Due to a stroke of luck, Fischer enjoyed plenty of quality time with her niece as a newborn, and was hooked.

“When Cecelia was 3 weeks old, Pam was on maternity leave, so I had a whole week off to spend with her,” she says.

“I took charge of the night feedings. It was so awesome: Every night at 9:30, I’d say, ‘You guys go to sleep now.’ I wanted CeCe all to myself. We really bonded.”

So CeCe is her daughter on the show, but also the name of her niece in real life? That’s sweet. :)

Something tells me she might be joining the baby boom some time this year!

Jenna’s one of my favorite actresses. Excited for her to possibly become a mom!

Cece the character on the show was indeed named after Jenna’s niece – how cute is that?!

To clarify things, Jenna’s sister Emily gave birth the same week they were filming “The Delivery” for The Office. Jenna was granted naming rights by the producers, and chose to name Jim and Pam’s baby after her niece. It’s definitely adorable!

She did the night feedings starting at 9:30pm–how awesome is this lady? Invaluable and caring Aunt…need more of them out there (my sister was not one of them).

Aw, this article made me smile! I feel the same way about my five young nieces. I really couldn’t love them more had I pushed them out of my own body! And ironically enough, one of them is also named Cecilia! Our Celia is six years old and perfect!

Wow – she did the night feedings for a whole week? What a great sister! Just wonderful! :)

Anyone know who her boyfriend/husband is? I’m asking because I’m simply curious as to who her potential baby’s father will be. :)

She is married to Lee Kirk, he is a writer.

Wow what an awesome aunt! My sister never offered to do that for my kids, but I wouldnt have let her anyway. If she wants kids she should try soon, she is already at advanced maternal age.
