Newlywed Nicole Richie leads her little ones — Harlow Winter Kate, 3 next week, and 16-month-old Sparrow James Midnight — out of an indoor playground after a play date Monday in Los Angeles.
Richie, 29, wed Joel Madden on Dec. 11 at her father Lionel Richie‘s California home. “It was magical,” she told PEOPLE, while Madden added, “It was the best night of my life.”

Gwyneth Paltrow had a blissful time during daughter Apple‘s first few months of life in summer 2004. Two years later, when son Moses was born, things couldn’t have been more different. The actress found herself living a nightmare.
“I felt like a zombie. I couldn’t access my heart. I couldn’t access my emotions. I couldn’t connect,” Paltrow, now 38, says in the February issue of Good Housekeeping.
“It was terrible, it was the exact opposite of what had happened when Apple was born. With her, I was on cloud nine. I couldn’t believe it wasn’t the same. I just thought it meant I was a terrible mother and a terrible person.”

Jason Schwartzman is too busy to be Bored to Death — he has a new baby at home.
The actor and wife Brady Cunningham welcomed a daughter, Marlowe Rivers Schwartzman, on Saturday, Dec. 4 in Los Angeles, his rep confirms to PEOPLE exclusively.
“I’m lucky I found a woman that I love and that’s amazing,” Schwartzman, 30, who stars in the HBO hit, said last fall. “I’m having a family and I feel very happy. I try to be a good father-to-be. I try to treat my wife well [so she can] enjoy these months.”
Schwartzman and Cunningham, a fashion designer, wed in July 2009.

Ending her holiday at Heathrow, Rachel Weisz totes son Henry, 4½, as she makes her way from London to New York City on Sunday.
The actress, 40, and new beau Daniel Craig spent Christmas in the countryside of Dorset, where they stepped out holding hands for a trip to the pub.
Weisz split from her fiancé, Black Swan director Darren Aronofsky, last year.

Two news correspondents have their own breaking news to share — the birth of their son.
Courtney Friel of Fox News and her husband, CNN‘s Carter Evans, welcomed their first child, son Cash Hudson Evans, at 6:08 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 1 in New York City. Cash weighed in at 9 lbs.
“We’re so excited to start out 2011 with a new baby and this new chapter in our lives,” Friel, 30, tells PEOPLE.
The couple, who met in San Diego at the NBC station KNSD, married in 2005 in Los Angeles.
