Emily Procter Welcomes Daughter Pippa

Michael Williams/Startraks

It’s a girl for Emily Procter!

The CSI: Miami star, 42, welcomed daughter Pippa in early December, she tells TV Guide. This is the first child for Procter and boyfriend Paul Bryan.

She returned to set this Wednesday, just in time for costar Adam Rodriguez‘s directing debut.

“I wouldn’t have missed it,” Procter says. “In a way it fits that my first day back is Adam’s first time directing because I felt like he genuinely wanted me to have a healthy baby. He wanted me to be happy, and I wish the same for him. I think that’s what you get after nine years together. It’s that genuine want for each other to be happy.”

The actress will be written out of the show for one week, returning with the March 13 episode.

Shirlaine Forrest/WireImage

“Of course I change the [diapers]. It’s not the thing I like best in the world, but I do it,” the Portuguese star of Real Madrid tells the Spanish sports daily Marca, as reported by Britain’s Daily Mail.

Ronaldo, 25, says he’s a different man since the arrival of Cristiano Jr., who was born last summer to a mother who remains anonymous — but is being raised solely by Ronaldo and his mother.

“Of course something like this affects you,” he says. “It’s a different type of responsibility.”

Courtesy Fisher Price

If your child is constantly grabbing for your handheld, maybe it’s time to get them one of their own. Lucky for you, Fisher-Price recently released the iXL Learning System: 6 in 1 Smart Device ($80), which is a terrific option. Suitable for kids from ages 3 to 7, it features a digital reader, game player, notepad, art studio, photo viewer and MP3 player.

It also comes loaded with an interactive story and activity featuring a cute monkey that will make your tots giggle for hours. More importantly, the iXL will help boost your child’s story comprehension, as well as help improve their counting, art, creativity, vocabulary and spelling skills.

We love the sturdy design — you don’t have to worry if it gets banged up. Plus, the controls and oversize stylus are easy for mini fingers to manage.

Want more info? Go to Fisher-Price.com. While you’re there, make sure to also check out the wide selection of cool learning games available.
