My mother had friend birthdays for us starting around Kindergarten and I never remember a parent staying for them.

my mom always stayed with me at parties. idk if that was because of regular safety concerns or the fact that i’m mexican and we used to live in a very racist area in middle america…….either way, i’ll be staying with my children when they go to birthday parties.

Pregnant women aren’t a protected class and, call me old-fashioned but, what’s a pregnant chick doing in a bar? Buzz-kill!

She wasn’t boozing it up at the bar, she was catching up with girl friends. I did that a few times when I was pregnant, I didn’t want to feel left out. I didn’t go to bars where smoking was permitted and of course didn’t drink alcohol, but I remember getting dirty looks. I’d be mad too!

Buzz-kill? Seriously?! So all pregnant women should just stay inside because people like you apparently think they are gross to look at? WOW.

I understand refusing to serve someone alcohol, but this woman was drinking water. I hope she sues the place.

Hmmm…….I am kind of mixed on the pregnant woman being asked to leave. I don’t agree with how it was handled but know that I would never be at a bar in that situation at 8months pregnant after midnight.

Indira….women don’t like to be called chicks.

I can’t remember my parents staying at any birthday party. With parents it won’t be a children’s party. There would be more children than parents!
