Gwen Stefani and son Zuma Nesta Rock, 2, take a breather after learning the rules of the road during a Beverly Hills, Calif. playdate on Thursday.

“[Zuma] wants everyone to watch him, and he’s a goofball and he’s really silly. He’s a funny guy,” the No Doubt frontwoman, 41, told InStyle recently.

I’d be too afraid I’d slip off the swing and fall flat on my back to do with my kid what she is doing with Zuma in that first pic! Then again, most people have a lot better balance than I do! Haha!

That first picture is so sweet. I’ve been doing that forever with the babies in my family. They love it! The hard part is actually trying to put them down in their own baby swings–they don’t want to let go of you the first few times.
