Kristoffer Polaha and Julianne Morris welcomed their third child, son Jude, on Sunday, Jan. 2, E! Online reports.
Jude joins big brothers Micah, 4½, and Kristoffer Jr., 6½.
Life Unexpected star Polaha, 33, wed Morris, 42, in June 2003.

I was hoping they would have a girl, but oh well. It seems like when a couple has two children of one gender, it is more likely that the third will be the same gender. I doubt there is any truth to that, it’s just something I noticed. Congrats to them.

Love the name! I read somewhere that, although you have a 50-50 shot of having either gender, you are more likely to have two of the same gender and then the opposite if you have three kids. For example, boy-boy-girl or girl-girl-boy. Don’t know if there’s any truth to it, but I read it somewhere. Congrats to Kristoffer, Julianne, Kristoffer Jr., and Micah on baby Jude.

I never understood why people name their second or third children “jr.” I always wonder what is going through the parents heads when they decide not to name the first one after the dad but the second or third one is. Just a thought.

JMO- How do we know Jude’s adorable? I mean, I’m sure he is, but they haven’t released a picture yet. Anyway, I was just reading Eonline’s article about the birth and saw this: ”

So is the oldest boy’s name Kristoffer Jr. or Caleb? I’m really confused!

CelebBabyLover – I saw the same thing. The oldest is named Kristoffer Caleb Polaha Jr. and was born on July 28, 2004 (making him about 6 1/2 and his middle name Caleb and that’s what he goes by, maybe) and the middle boy is named Micah and was born on April 6, 2006 (making him a bit older than 4 1/2). According to IMDb.com and nndb.com, anyway. I was confused, also, so I checked.

Caleb is Kristopher Jr’s middle name according to IMDB, they probably call him Caleb.

@CelebBabyLover – according to Wiki, their son’s name is Kristoffer Caleb Polaha, Jr. so maybe they call him Caleb as to not confuse him with his father. The son also shares his middle name with his father, so perhaps E!Online knows that they call their son Caleb.

Congrats to the family!! My step-mom’s name is Judy but goes by Jude so it is a names that I hold close to my heart, my husband and I are planning on nameing our son Liam Jude Charles so I love the choice 
Have not seen pictures but I am sure all three boys are absolutly adorable!!

I dispise Jr.’s!!!! There is no need to name a child after the father or mother unless they have passed. I think it’s a macho thing on the mans ego to do such a thing. Then when the parents divorce or if the father was a bastard, that poor child has to bear his name his whole life. It’s not right. I had a friend who did that and she was abused as well as her son who was named after the idiot father. That little boy always says when he’s older he is taking a new name because he doesn’t want to be his name associated with his father. I can’t blame him.

Maybe JMO saw a picture….. People have to realize that some people on here may actually know people or be in the position to see pictures or now things. Now I know and don’t expect anyone to believe any of it…..but it is true.
