Constantine Maroulis Welcomes Daughter Malena James

Constantine Maroulis has someone new to idolize him – his brand-new baby girl.

The American Idol alum, 35, and his girlfriend Angel Reed welcomed their first child, Malena James Reed-Maroulis, on Thursday, Dec. 23 at 11:06 p.m. She weighed 6 lbs., 11 oz., and measured 19 inches long.

“Sometimes Christmas comes early and we’re so lucky to get the greatest gift a few days early,” Maroulis tells PEOPLE.

“Angel and I are thrilled to welcome our perfect baby girl into the world today. Mom and baby are healthy and I couldn’t be more excited to ring in 2011 this way.”

Baby No. 3 on the Way for Joey McIntyre

The block is filling up fast — Joey McIntyre and wife Barrett are expecting their third child.

The family will welcome baby no. 3 in May, his rep confirms to PEOPLE. The new addition joins big brothers Rhys Edward, 1, and Griffin Thomas, 3.

“Barrett and I are so blessed and grateful for the little one on the way,” says McIntyre, 37. “We’ll have our hands full. Three’s the new nine!”

The New Kids on the Block singer, one of nine children himself, wed Barrett in Aug. 2003 at New York City’s Plaza Hotel.

Amy Adams Explains Daughter Aviana’s Name

When it came to naming her now 7-month-old daughter Aviana Olea, Amy Adams surprised even herself with her final choice.

After declaring herself a traditionalist, the actress and fiancé Darren Le Gallo instead chose to pay homage to Adams’ birthplace of Aviano, Italy.

“We had picked out a whole bunch of other names as well and we had thrown around Aviana, but I was into more traditional names and thought that we would go that direction,” The Fighter star shares during a visit to the Rachael Ray Show, airing Friday.

“But, when she was born we just kept calling her, ‘Avi, Avi, Avi.’”
