Thanks for welcoming our newest celebrity blogger — Pat Monahan! The Train frontman is dad to two teens — Patrick, 17, and Emelia, 13 — as well as Autumn, his 2-year-old daughter with wife Amber.
In addition to Train — who have a holiday hit with “Shake Up Christmas” and were just nominated for a Grammy for Best Pop Performance — Monahan also voices the lead character on Sprout’s Driver Dan’s Story Train.
In his latest blog, Monahan, 41, reminiscences about his favorite childhood memories, shares his hopes for his own kids — and opens up about resolutions for the new year.

Transitioning from only child to big sister was tough for Piper Bee-Jones, 4½-year-old daughter of Daily Show correspondents Samantha Bee and Jason Jones.
Fortunately, she has been “much more welcoming” of new baby girl Ripley, 4 months, than she was of little brother Fletcher, 2½.
“Piper commands the attention she needs from us, so she’s not suffering,” Bee, 41, tells Working Mother.
“She likes being big sister. She feels she’s an important leader in the family.”

When Autumn Reeser said she was “carrying a little extra weight,” she wasn’t referring to Thanksgiving: the No Ordinary Family star is expecting her first child!
“I’m pregnant,” she told Jimmy Kimmel on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Tuesday night, after pointing to an as-of-now invisible baby bump.
The actress, 30, joked about her husband, writer-director Jesse Warren, finding out the news on television.
The two exchanged vows in May 2009 under a 200-year-old oak tree in Ojai, Calif.
