Teach Kids About Being Green with Greenzys

Courtesy Greenzys

It’s one thing to buy your kids eco-friendly toys, but it’s another thing to teach them the lesson of being green.

Do both with the new Greenzys plush animal and book collection, which already counts celeb moms Katherine Heigl and Nicole Ritchie as fans.

Not only are they adorable, but these green (literally!) stuffed animals are made from soy fibers and non-toxic dyes and come in packaging made from recycled paperboard.

Plus, there is a book — printed with soy-based inks — featuring all of the characters explaining the importance of living an eco-friendly lifestyle.

Even better? With each purchase of a Greenzys toy, a tree is planted by the Arbor Day Foundation and a portion of the proceeds is donated to the Environmental Media Association.

Get in on the fun at Greenzys.com.

As a new mom to now 9-month-old son Easton Quinn Monroe, overtime at work came with a hefty price for Jenna Elfman.

“I was doing a lot of filming, so he was getting a lot of breastmilk from bottles,” the actress, 39, tells Best for Babes. “When he was 3 or 4 months old, he went through a finicky phase where he didn’t want to nurse.”

Worried and “having flashbacks” of her breastfeeding troubles with elder son Story Elias, 3, Elfman feared Easton’s nursing strike would end with the new mom exclusively pumping again. It was then, notes the actress, that she quickly changed her approach with her baby boy.

Bronx Wentz Doubling Up on Holiday Gifts

Donato Sardella/WireImage

Kids born around the holidays sometimes feel short-changed in the gift department. But it sounds like Bronx Mowgli Wentz doesn’t need to worry.

The son of Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson-Wentz turned 2 on Nov. 20, but she says he’ll still have a nice Christmas – though they’ll have to branch out in terms of presents.

“He just had his birthday, and he got a lot of gifts,” the singer/actress, 26, told PEOPLE on Monday at an Alice & Olivia toy drive in West Hollywood. (She’s pictured here with founder Stacey Bendet, who’s expecting her second child this spring.)

“He’ll still have a great Christmas, and he’s really into Thomas the Train, but we have enough Thomas, so we do not need that this year!”
