Jennifer Garner and daughters Violet Anne, 5, and Seraphina Rose Elizabeth, 23 months, make a run for it Saturday in Santa Monica, where they made stops at Pottery Barn and Michaels.

“My sisters both are working mothers. I understand that my being an actress as well as being at home isn’t some heroic thing,” Garner, 38, notes.

“That doesn’t mean it isn’t confusing or difficult — especially that question of how you find a balance.”

Miranda Kerr rests a hand on her belly while walking back to the car with husband Orlando Bloom after brunch at Hugo’s on Saturday in West Hollywood, Calif.

The couple expect their first child this winter.

“Every mother I’ve spoken to has said you cannot explain the profound feeling of love that comes over you as soon as the baby is born,” Kerr, 27, told Vogue Australia.

“I’m really looking forward to that moment.”

Gwyneth Paltrow: My Son Will Marry Faith Hill’s Daughter

Is a merger in the cards for two celebrity superstar families?

Gwyneth Paltrow thinks so. She and her new BFF Faith Hill have spent so much time together lately that their children have bonded – in a major way.

“Moses … we might really become family when he marries Audrey!” Paltrow tells Hill, who interviewed her for January’s InStyle, on newsstands Friday. “My son is in love with your daughter!”

Paltrow is referring to her son Moses, 4½, with husband and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, and Hill’s daughter Audrey, 9, with country superstar Tim McGraw. The two families grew close while Paltrow and McGraw were filming their upcoming movie Country Strong in Nashville.

Tiffani Thiessen: ‘I’m a Walking Zombie’

With daughter Harper Renn almost 6 months old and in the middle of teething, Tiffani Thiessen and husband Brady Smith find themselves splitting evening duty.

“I’m the one that gets up in the middle [part of the] night — he has the really early shift and I have the night shift,” explained the White Collar star, 36, at the USA and The Moth presentation of A Perfect Union: Stories of Prejudice and Power Monday night in Manhattan.

And in spite of Thiessen’s mom, Robyn, helping out as well, it doesn’t look like the actress is getting much sleep. “I’m a walking zombie, and I think I’m going to be like that for a while,” she joked.

The event, held at the Hollywood & Highland Grand Ballroom, benefited the USC Shoah Foundation Institute.

The Late Late Show host, 48, and his art dealer wife expect their first child together this winter; he is already dad to son Milo, 9.

“Holy crackers! Mrs F is pregnant. How did that happen?” Ferguson announced in July. “Oh yeah I know how. Another Ferguson arrives in 2011. The world trembles.”
