The actress is expecting her first child with husband Javier Bardem this winter.

Before summer a spanish paper gave the scoop which she denied very angry (she doesn´t usually treat spanish papers very nice). Months after she announced she was pregnat but it looks like the journalist were 100% right in spite of her really bad mood reply.

i would reply angrily too if a random stranger asked me if i was pregnant. how rude. if someone is pregnant it is up to them when they announce it and who they announce it to.

There are these really funny pictures of her and Javier Bardem @ a basketball game.He’s super into the game pumping both his fists and her expression is so “ugh whatever, my feet hurt”. In some of the pictures she looks really cranky/tired but, they look really in love! For some reason I think she’s having a boy.

Kim and babyloover- Exactly! Frankly, it disgusts me how the media constantly outs celeb’s pregnancies before they’re ready to share the news (and thus basically forcing the celeb to confirm). Note to the media: Let celebs announce their pregnancies when they’re good and ready to.
And obviously I’m not talking about situations where it’s painfully obvious that a celeb is pregnant. Naturally it would be silly to expect the media to pretend like the celeb isn’t pregnant just because they haven’t announced it in that case!
But when it’s still in the “is she or isn’t she?” stage, the media should keep their mouths shut, IMO.
Anyway, Penelope’s belly in this picture reminds me a lot of what Katie Holmes’ belly looked like near the end of her pregnancy with Suri (which is kind of funny when you think about it, considering Penelope was once involved with Tom!)!
