Mom-to-Be Mariah Carey Celebrates the Holidays — with Snoopy!

With her own holiday standard (“All I Want for Christmas Is You”) already under her belt, Mariah Carey has decided to take on other Christmas classics this season.

The mom-to-be, who is expecting her first child this spring, recently released Merry Christmas II You, which features “Christmas Time Is Here” and “Linus and Lucy” from the iconic A Charlie Brown Christmas.

Even better, she’s performing the songs with Snoopy during her ABC holiday special, Mariah Carey: Merry Christmas to You, which airs on Dec. 13 at 9 p.m. EST.

 

Love the PEANUTS as much as we do? The cartoon’s wintertime TV movie, A Charlie Brown Christmas, will air on December 7 at 8 p.m. EST and December 16 at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.

Her husband was on Rachael Ray, and Rachael referred to the “babies” that Mariah is carrying. More fuel to the fire that she is having more than one baby!

Rachael- LOL!

ncmom- I had to go check it out after you said that, and Rachel did say at one point that Mariah’s “got human beings” growing in there. What amazed me was that Nick didn’t rush to correct her, nor did he seem bothered that she said that. You’d think he’d be bothered she let their secret slip (if in fact she did)!

It could be, though, that Rachel has simply read the twin rumors like ther rest of us (I remember Jack Black saying that’s what led to him slipping about Angie having twins. His wife had read the rumors and told him about it, and he assumed it was common knowledge. Of course, he turned out to be correct about it being twins in that case!). It seems odd to me that she would actually be in the know.

Mariah also doesn’t look nearly big enough for twins to me. In fact, I can’t even see a bump in the top picture (the bottom one is obviously the album cover, so I realize it was probably taken awhile ago!)! But in anycase, I guess we’ll find out eventually.

Rachael, I think the speculations are due to the fact that she has been seen leaving a fertility clinic. But that could be for many reasons other than fertility treatments (it could for example have to do with her age or her previous miscarriage). Besides, most fertility treatments result in one baby rather than two or more, but most people seem to either forget that. Having twins is also not necessarily a result of fertility treatments, most people seem to forget that too.

Anyways, not matter how many children she is expecting, I wish her Happy Holidays, and a good pregnancy.
