Look for Less: Ali Larter’s Sleek All-Black

GSI Media

Every woman knows an all-black ensemble always looks chic — even mom-to-be Ali Larter.

During a recent shopping trip in Los Angeles, the actress paired a simple black tank dress with Rock & Republic‘s studded Lanie flats ($140) and a large quilted tote bag ($3600) from Chanel.

She also brought along a jean jacket as a casual coverup.

Love Ali’s casually sleek maternity style?

You’re in luck. We’ve rounded up a similar outfit — with items all under $108!

Dress

From the super soft fabric to the flattering side ruching, we love everything about ASOS Maternity‘s Black Wrap Bust Dress ($52) — and so will you.

Jacket

Everyone needs a classic denim jacket in their closet. Try It JeansButton Front Denim Maternity Jacket ($108).

It may be a tad pricey, but it stylishly hugs your growing curves for a less boxy fit.

Shoes

Chic flats are a mom-to-be must-have during the last trimester. We suggest Xhilaration‘s Sharee Studded Flats ($10).

The pyramid studs give off an edgy vibe, while the cushioned insole make walking around feel like a dream.

Bag

Go ahead and indulge yourself with Nine West‘s fab Quilted Shopper ($40). Not only does it feature gorgeous metal stud detailing, but it’s roomy enough to double as a chic diaper bag later on.

I know this is said every time a post like this comes up, but I’m still going to say it: I don’t care if you’re BILL FREAKING GATES, nobody on the planet needs a $3600 bag!

That aside, she does look fabulous!

Ali looks great and I can’t wait for her baby to arrive!

@Mallory- I totally agree with you! For that amount I could pay my monthly student loan bill for 3.5 years!

she look a bit swollen/puffy – sorry to say that, it happens to a lot of expecting moms and it’s the truth.

I thought the same thing about the purse, lol. She looks great, though!

There are a lot of things that we as humans have and consume that we don’t really need. However, the one thing that I consistently find that I can do without and don’t really need is for people to tell me (and others) how to spend my hard earned money. I have a collection of very expensive bags, shoes, etc. that I neither make excuses for nor apologize for. I work hard and can afford to spend so I do without hesitation. As for Ali, Almost Home :)

The baby’s here now! Theodore.
Mallory, like you, I think that a $3600 is expensive even for Bill Gates. (Maybe Bill Gates was the one who bought it for her. :])
