Ha, Annie! I was just going to say – is it REALLY that cold in LA? It was 25 today in my hometown, and I didn’t bother wearing a hat or gloves. Oh those wimpy California people!

I’m from Colorado and visited a family that I used to nanny for (when they lived in Colorado) in Houston, Texas about 2 years ago. I was wearing tank tops and short sleeved shirts and they were all wearing long sleeved and coats. A friend of theirs asked me why I wasn’t cold, then immediately answered herself with “Oh wait, you’re from Colorado. Never mind. Of course you aren’t cold yet!” I just laughed!

LOL right now I wish I was in California. It is currently 30 degrees here in New York and we had flurries today! Maybe I am wimpy too (like people in California apparently are) but I wore a hat, scarf and gloves all day, in addition to my giant coat! I can’t even imagine being in places like Minnesota where it is colder! But I wouldn’t change it for anything, I can’t imagine spending Christmas somewhere warm! Nowhere else in the world like New York

Also, is there a reason why one girl has a total boys while the other has a total girls name? Were they hoping for a boy or something? Has it ever been cleared?

erika, at least its in the thirties. i am in champaign, IL and it was a high 0f 15 degrees today. also very windy outside so it felt more like 5 degrees.

cait42, I couldn’t even imagine! i like a cool December but not THAT cold lol! Ours felt like 22 with the wind, so I can’t even imagine feeling like 5!

It’s been in the 50s in LA lately, which is somewhat cold for us wimpy Californians. However, I don’t call that bundled up. None one of them is wearing gloves or scarves. They’re just all wearing jackets and only one of them has it buttoned up. Is wearing a jacket considered “bundled up”?

Geez, what’s with all the comments about Californians being wimpy? When you’re used to growing up in Southern California where the temperature is 70 degrees on average, then yes, anything below 60 is cold to us wimps.

erika,i am used to it though, i am from chicago which is a much windier climate and on average 5 degrees colder than champaign. i will be back in chicago in less than two weeks, just in time for the freezing weather. My sister is currently in LA and enjoying the very nice weather over there before she returns to chicago this week. thirties is still very cold, so i am sure we are all not fully enjoying the weather temperature up in the northern states.

Brittany, i agree with you. while I and many others are used to winters meaning temperatures approaching the low teens, there are also many people used to winters just meaning 60 degree weather. i would agree that if you are used to warm weather, 50 degrees would feel cold to you. its just strange to those used to cold weather to see someone wearing a full blown winter jacket when it is 50 degrees outside.

I am from Indiana an it just got to about 20F today. When I took my dog out, I wore my coat hat & gloves as well. Maybe they don’t want to get sick! There is lots of stuff going around…

It’s -5.8 ºF here if the metric calculations site is correct. -21 C. I wear a coat, a hat and some gloves.
Soleil looks like a hobo. Every item she’s got on makes her look even shorter than she really is. I like, however, how she doesn’t seem to care about stuff like that.

Mina- Actually yes, Soliel has explained the reasoning behind the name. She didn’t say where Blue came from, but she said that Jagger was just a name she and her husband really liked for either gender, and Joseph is the name of someone close to them (a family friend or something, I forget which). It could be that they aren’t planning on having any more children and really wanted to honor their friend, so that’s why they used Joseph for their daughter’s middle name.

I dont understand why everyone is making a big deal about them being “wimps.” If it were the other way around they they didn’t have the children bundled up, they would be under fire for that! CBB posters are NEVER happy!
In my opinion, you can always take off the jacket, gloves, or hat, if you get too toasty, but once you are out and about and you don’t have those things and NEED them, then it’s your own fault.

I live in Ca and it HAS been cold here. Down to the 20s over night with a high in the low 40s. That is cold!

I am from Boston, where it is normal on a January morning for the temperature to be below zero. I currently live in Washington, DC, where in addition to hovering around freezing temperatures today, we have 20 mph winds. I am spending this coming weekend in Buffalo, New York, visiting friends, where they just got four feet of snow and temperatures will be in the twenties every day for the next week.
So seeing someone in Southern California during 50-degree weather dressed like she’s about to trek through the arctic tundra is, yes, going to make me laugh. Sorry.

CelebBabyLover – I posted a link explaining the name, also. Your right about Jagger. Joseph is after either Soleil’s or Jason’s godfather (Soleil’s word was ‘our’ godfather). And she said they just liked Blue.

I’d have to see a better photo of Soleil’s belly area to be able say whether she looks pregnant or not to me. There are so many factors in this picture that could be causing her to look that way. It looks like the wind might be blowing her top up a bit, and a puffy coat like that is going to make almost anyone look a bit “bumpy” around the middle.

Also, I think Soleil might just be one of those people who tends to look pregnant a lot due to her body build. People have said several times before that she looks pregnant when she turns out not to be. I think she’s just in the same category as Jennifer Garner and Alyson Hannigen.
