The family decorated holiday snowflakes to support the company’s WISH4SNOW program, which invites customers to make a 77-cent donation to benefit eight children’s hospitals across the country.

Customers can visit the site to make their own virtual snowflakes and be entered into a daily sweepstakes for a $77 gift card, along with the grand prize of a winter block party.

If the goal of creating 100,000 snowflakes online is reached, American Eagle will donate $25,000 to split evenly among the hospitals.

That really is annoying…..why do they need a daughter to “look” even more complete. As someone who can’t have children, I hate being judged when people see us……and people do. A family is complete to their own standards.

Jill I am truly sorry that you are unable to have children but I get your point each family is perfect in its own right. My family has my husband, myself, our daughter, my best friends who I call sister, her husband and their little boy that was adopted from Ethiopia, and my other best friend again more of a sister who has the other side of our duplex with a door cut in the middle to join our houses and her autistic son who is the same age as my daughter. When we first took all three kids to the daycare, mind you the kids call each other brother and sister people looked us like we were insane. But you know what it’s their loss for not being able to see the beauty that are our children. A blond and green eyed girl, a beautiful dark skinned blue eyed autistic boy, and the most beautiful shade of chocolate you have ever see as someone’s skin tone and black eyes that are paired up with a smile that will knock you off your feet, who have three mothers two fathers and more grandparents than anyone knows what to do with come holiday time, to us is family. I am sorry that people around you have not been accepting of your family structure what ever that may be, everyone deserves acceptance, I truly hope that this holiday season you get that.
