Autumn Reeser Expecting First Child

When Autumn Reeser said she was “carrying a little extra weight,” she wasn’t referring to Thanksgiving: the No Ordinary Family star is expecting her first child!

“I’m pregnant,” she told Jimmy Kimmel on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Tuesday night, after pointing to an as-of-now invisible baby bump.

The actress, 30, joked about her husband, writer-director Jesse Warren, finding out the news on television.

The two exchanged vows in May 2009 under a 200-year-old oak tree in Ojai, Calif.

As for her role on the ABC sci-fi series No Ordinary Family, Reeser — whose previous TV credits include The O.C. and Entourage — says she’s not sure if producers will incorporate her pregnancy into her role as Katie Andrews, a gawky, comic book-consuming lab technician.

“My character is … kind of not so great with men, but it is a superhero show, so it could be a magical something that just happens,” she says. “Stranger things have happened.”

Amanda, how could you have named your daughter for her from seeing her as Taylor on The OC? That show didn’t even premiere until 2003, and Autumn didn’t come on board until 2 years after that….

Congrats! Wonder when she’s due? Speaking of which….what’s with this new trend of celebs not saying anything, even in general terms, about their due date? It’s never been common for celebs to reveal their exact due dates (understandably so!), but it used to be that most of the time, they’d at least say something like, “I’m due in the Spring”. Or even “I’m due in August”).

Anyone have any idea why celebs are being more secretive about their due dates now?

Have no clue who she is but she is beautiful! Congrats!

Glad she isn’t telling anyone when she is due and I am happy the others are not either. I think it is wonderful that so many keep things private. Look at what happens when they discuss things. Pink talks about the name Jameson…..people bash it, Travoltas have a baby….bash them…..any name people pick, people are rude, cruel and harsh. On one posting a poster was swearing at another poster and THIS SITE DID NOTHING.

I know its exciting expecting your first child and everything but it kinda bothered me that the minute she sat down she said ‘im pregnant’ like thats the only reason she came on the show and her dress is too short and doesnt do her body justice.

Funny, I did the math on the Autumn named 8 year old!? She was cute on the OC and driven on Entourage. Bet the baby will be adorable!
