She’s not technically a celebrity baby, but actress Joey King, 11, is a celebrity in her own right.

The pint-sized actress, who’s appeared in Reign Over Me and on Entourage, took a major star turn this year in the title role of Ramona and Beezus, costarring Selena Gomez, and currently out on DVD and Blu-ray disc.

“I had the best time ever working on the film,” King recently told PEOPLE Moms & Babies. “I looked up to everyone there, especially Selena. She was like a big sister to me. She’s a good role model.”

King also rubbed shoulders with stars John Corbett, Bridget Moynahan, Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Duhamel while working on the film.

Melissa Joan Hart: Parenting from Both Coasts ‘Stressful’

Melissa Joan Hart‘s bicoastal lifestyle isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.

“It’s kind of stressful,” the actress told PEOPLE Monday at the 38th Annual International Emmy Awards.

“I just had the last six weeks off and I got to be home [in Connecticut]. Now I’m going to go back to the West coast for the next five months [to film Melissa & Joey]. My kids are in school so they have to be here — it is really hard.”

Although she finds the separation difficult, Hart is able to keep her head up, always making sure to never go longer than a week without seeing her sons Mason Walter, 4½, and Braydon ‘Brady’ Hart, 2½.

Finally home — and hand in hand.

Reese Witherspoon, back in Los Angeles while on a break from filming This Means War in Vancouver, strolled with children Ava Elizabeth, 11, and Deacon Reese, 7, in Beverly Hills on Saturday.

Witherspoon may have moved on with boyfriend Jim Toth, but ex-husband Ryan Phillippe says the two remain close.

“We go to all the school events together, and we’re there for each other,” he explains. “It is so important as divorced parents to keep that connection. It makes the kids feel better that the parents are interacting.”

Felicity Huffman Dishes on Her Directorial Debut, Lesster

Felicity Huffman already has a lot on her plate — marriage, motherhood, her successful gig on Desperate Housewives. But the actress recently stepped up to tackle two more roles: director and writer.

This fall, Huffman signed on to Liberty Mutual’s Responsibility Project, a campaign encouraging people to do the right thing when it comes to caring for our environment. The Oscar-nominated actress wrote, directed and starred in a short film called Lesster, about a plucky boy who tries to show his parents that their actions are hurting our planet. (Actor Danny Glover directed another film for the cause.)

Huffman recently spoke to PEOPLE Moms & Babies about her film — and what she and her daughters are doing to help save the world, one step at a time.
