I dont think I have ever seen Violet walk. My first child is her age and he loves to walk and run and frankly I like that he is so independent.

Holiday, Violet walks quite a bit so I’m sure you’ve just missed those pictures. I know there are some people on this site that don’t agree with a child of her age being carried but she isn’t carried all the time. Personally, I think it’s sweet that her parents still carry her occasionally. Children are only little for such a short period of time and before you know it, they don’t even want to hug you goodbye!

I think celebrities carry their children, even the older ones, in public to keep them safe–either from wandering off (parents know how quickly that can happen) or from being grabbed by a stranger. Yes, they may be famous, but they are still parents and your child’s safety is a priority. I think they are a lovely family.

Wow I thought Ben was walking with Anjelina for a second. Jen looks a bit gaunt in the face, she looks like she has lost a bit of weight.

Jessicad: Amanda seems to want to insinuate that Ben only ever spends time with his family in public when he wants to promote something…as if she knows how much time he does spend with them…foolish comment in my opinion as no-one knows from a bunch of pictures what their lives are like in any way, shape or form.

I’m sure celebrity kids are pictured being carried more than ‘regular’ kids the same age because of the mass attention that follows them. I know if I had a 5 year old I’d feel uncomfortable with them walking through a media scrum .
Both Girls are absolutely adorable and this family seems very down to earth.

To the posters who commented on Ben and Jen’s relationship status: 1. They’re being followed by paparazzi with a almost 5 and almost 2 year old……….. how romantic! 2. Could just be that at that moment/angle they didn’t look very mushy? 3. Umm why start rumors?
But as I said above ADORABLE! I love seeing pics of that family on CBB!

Ms. C….if someone followed you around all day long snapping photos (with our without your husband/significant other) do you honestly think you’d have a happy smiling face on the whole time?? Probably not.
It takes an instant to snap a photo. If they were in mid sentence or word, the look on their face can be sour. Theres a number of factors that could cause that look on their faces. Who are you/we to say they’ve lost that loving feeling??? That’s just stupid. Only Ben and Jen know, behind closed doors, how much loving feeling they have! As it should be….

Noelle- Exactly! And I also want to point out that being in love with someone doesn’t mean you have to be gazing at them all awestruck and getting mushy with them every second of every day. In fact, that would not be healthy!

Ben does have a movie coming out (The Company Men), and it looks REALLY good. I can’t wait to see it, personally-after Gone Baby Gone and The Town, Ben’s on a roll, which is nice after all those years with a lackluster career and public image.
Speaking of that, I think that’s why he’s become such a virtual recluse since marrying Jen-he knows how he looked to the public while having to publicly go to rehab for gambling addiction, being engaged to JLo, etc. and is embarassed by it now, so he tries to make up for it with his work and trying to constantly stay out of the spotlight. That’s what people in the industry have said, and it definitely jives with how he acts now.
As for Jen, I really feel sorry for this poor woman. She has a perfectly fine-more than fine-body, yet people are either constantly projecting their personal desires for her to have another child onto her by constantly commenting that she looks pregnant or saying that she looks gaunt and has lost too much weight. Make up your mind already and leave the lady alone for once.
