This looks very innovative lol. But it’s a good idea. Sometimes babies just want to be held and held and held and there are other things that need to be accomplished, so this could be helpful. I don’t have children yet, so I don’t know if I would actually use it, but it looks cool.

gag me. expensive, useless, plastic garbage trying to make wealthy parents feel better about themselves.

I’ve seen a demo of this product… it reminds me a lot of the FP Soothing Motions Glider, except that it moves in more than one direction and sits up. Other than that, from the demo it appears that this contraption (for lack of a better word) moves very slowly and has a somewhat jerky motion when it changes direction (either from back to front or when going from up to down).

Honestly, I’d go with a swing and a bouncy seat before I’d go with this thing.

Looks great…but what’s wrong with the $30-$50 ones from Target or Babies R Us. They do the same things!!!!

… Or wear the baby. Most seem to love it and you have your hands free and can do most things.

BUT…. I am kind of curious about the mamaROO, I must admit….

Looks like a ridiculous contraption to me. I’m with Jaqui, wear the baby and than you can actually bounce or swing instead of simulate it.
