Lou Samuel Celebrates First Birthday with a Cupcake

What does Heidi Klum and Seal’s baby girl Lou Sulola have to look forward to on her first birthday Saturday? Cupcakes, candles and some heartfelt gifts.

“We’re just hanging out at home for her birthday,” Klum, 37, told PEOPLE at the launch party for her new activewear line, Heidi Klum for New Balance, on Thursday in New York.

“I got balloons and I got cupcakes — she’s going to eat her first Sprinkles cupcake!”

As for the birthday girl’s present? Her mom has decided to make her gift a new family tradition.

“I made her a beautiful necklace,” she said. “It’s the same necklace I made [now 6-year-old] Leni when she [turned] 1. It’s an ‘L’ with blue diamonds. Leni’s is pink, [and] she still wears it. It’s like their 1-year present.”

Josh Kelley and Naleigh Bond Over Cheerios and SpongeBob

The fastest way to Josh Kelley‘s heart? Make his name your first word, just as 22-month-old daughter Naleigh did.

“The first word she said was ‘Dada,’ which was awesome,” Kelley, 30, says. “Can’t really get me any cockier then when my kid says ‘Dada’ – I love it.”

As for other milestones, “she’s starting to run. She went from walking to kind of trotting, and now she’s running and it’s really hard to catch her,” the “Georgia Clay” crooner says.

“The terrible twos are probably on their way.”

Celebrating in fairy-princess style with her parents, The Gates star Nichols and Taron Lexton, as well as Fisher-Price, the party was planned by Marisol’s dear friend, designer Melinda Brownstone.

Stacey Bendet Expecting Second Child

She’s busy with a new collection — and a baby on the way.

Stacey Bendet and husband Eric Eisner are expecting their second child this spring, the alice + olivia designer confirms. The new addition will join big sister Eloise Breckenridge Eisner, 22 months.

“Eric and I are so excited to bring another miracle into this world,” Bendet, 32, tells PEOPLE. “If it’s a boy I will obviously have to bring back our men’s line!”

With her recently launched career collection spotted on Carrie Underwood, Elisabeth Moss and more, the alice + olivia designer is balancing work and motherhood — and showing Eloise the ropes as well!

“She comes to my office and plays every day,” says Bendet. “I want her to grow up around creative people and I want her to see that it’s cool for women to work hard.”

Ali Larter celebrated her baby shower for her upcoming baby boy last weekend — and we’ve got the photos and additional details.

Designed by David Stark and presented by Target and Baby Buggy, the party focused on the less fortunate. The actress, 34, will continue to donate through her Ali Larter for Baby Buggy registry on target.com, where the public can purchase items to be sent to mothers in need.

Additionally, a financial donation has been made to Project Peanut Butter, an organization which helps malnourished children in Africa.
