It’s that time of year!
Dave Grohl and daughter Harper Willow, 18 months, were spotted at the patch in Beverly Hills, Calif., searching for the perfect pumpkin to take home.
Joining the pair were the rocker’s wife Jordyn, as well as their elder daughter Violet Maye, 4½.
“I used to tour nine months out of the year,” Grohl, 41, notes. “Now I don’t like being away from my kids for more than 12 days.”

Though Jeff Foxworthy‘s daughters have hit the teenage years, the comedian stays plugged into the younger set thanks to his hosting gig on Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?.
But he finds an even deeper connection with children through books, including his recently released third kid-friendly tome, Hide!!! (illustrated by Steve Bjorkman), in bookstores Oct. 19.
It tells the story of a neighborhood game of hide-and-seek, and challenges young readers to find hidden illustrations on each page.
“I read to my girls when they were little, and they loved I Spy, Where’s Waldo?,” he tells PEOPLE Moms & Babies. ”So this is two books in one: it’s a story, and you have to find something, too.”

The Sugar Ray frontman is proud papa to 5-month-old twins Lydon Edward and Hartley Grace, his children with fiancée Carin Kingsland, as well as the new host of Don’t Forget the Lyrics!, airing weekdays on VH1 and in syndication.
In his latest blog, McGrath, 42, recalls telling his father his and Carin’s great news — and how preparing for the twins’ baptism became his dad’s final family duty.
