From Nancy Drew to Bear in Sunshine, mama Jennifer Garner makes sure daughters Seraphina Rose Elizabeth, 20 months, and Violet Anne, 4½, always have a good book — and she has coffee on hand!
The pair were spotted strolling in Santa Monica, Calif., on Thursday.
Violet and Seraphina are the actress’ girls with her husband of five years, Ben Affleck.

He’s created his own cycling team! Lance Armstrong Tweets that he’s welcomed his fifth child, a daughter.
“Olivia Marie Armstrong has arrived!” he wrote early Monday morning, keeping mum on the specifics.
“Thanks to you all for the support and well wishes. Momma and Olivia (@Cincoarmstrong!) are doing great. She’s a beauty!”
This is the Tour de France champ’s second child with Anna Hansen, with whom he also has son Maxwell Edward, 16 months. Additionally, Armstrong is dad to twin daughters Isabelle and Grace, 9 next month, and son Luke, 11, with ex-wife Kristin Armstrong.
Armstrong, 39, announced the pregnancy in April.

Christina Aguilera takes a break from her divorce drama to treat her 2½-year-old son Max Liron to a fun downhill ride at Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch in West Hollywood, Calif.
Days after confirming she had separated from husband Jordan Bratman in September, the songstress, 29, filed for divorce Thursday, citing irreconcilable differences after five years of marriage.
“Max is her No. 1 concern,” a friend tells PEOPLE. “She’s making a huge effort to continuing to be a good mom through this transition for him.”

Move over Tori Spelling, and make room for Mayim Bialik!
The Big Bang Theory star, 34, is poised to join the ranks of celebrity mom authors, with “one more draft” to write in a book she’s penned for publisher Simon & Schuster.
The focus will come as no surprise to Bialik’s following. “[It's] about this style of parenting that we do, which I think is a big part of what my life is really about,” she explains to PopStar.com.
“I have a 5-year-old and a 2-year-old, and that is my most important job.”
