Third Child on the Way for Tom Dumont

No doubt about it, the band’s extended family continues to grow!

In an entry titled “Party of Five”, guitarist Tom Dumont, 42, announced Monday he is soon-to-be a dad-of-three — wife Mieke is expecting the couple’s third child this winter, according to the band’s official Web site.

The new baby will join big brothers Ace Joseph, 4½, and Rio Atticus, 2, at home.

In addition, bassist Tony Kanal and girlfriend Erin Lokitz expect their first child early next year, frontwoman Gwen Stefani is mom to sons Kingston, 4, and Zuma, 2, while Adrian Young is dad to son Mason, 8½.

Awww so far 3/4 have boys I wonder if Tony’s will be a boy too!?! Still want to see Gwen have a girl teehee =)~

I REALLY REALLY REALLY hope it’s a girl! Or at least Tony’s baby. All of the no doubt members have boys, someone needs to add some pink into the mix.

Congratulations!! I love their sons names.

Not to be a downer but there was a No Doubt baby girl – Adrian and his wife Nina very sadly lost a daughter at seven months along earlier this year. I am sure all anyone cares about is a healthy baby and that both Tony and Tom waited so long to announce their happy news out of respect for Adrian.

There’s the link from the band’s website about the lost baby girl. So sad. I cant imagine losing a baby so late in pregnancy.

amsjll- Thanks for the link. I noticed it doesn’t say what the baby’s gender was, though. So, just curious…where are people getting that it was a girl? It also bothers me a little that, in that post you linked, they said they “lost our pregnancy”. At seven months along, it’s not a miscarriage. It’s a stillborn baby!

Anyway, congrats to Tom and his wife.

I never understand why people say, “i hope they have a boy or i hope they have a girl.” why not, i just hope they have a healthy baby. so many people in this world can’t have children, and/or have them, but they miscarry or have a stillborn.
