Christina Aguilera takes a break from her divorce drama to treat her 2½-year-old son Max Liron to a fun downhill ride at Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch in West Hollywood, Calif.

Days after confirming she had separated from husband Jordan Bratman in September, the songstress, 29, filed for divorce Thursday, citing irreconcilable differences after five years of marriage.

“Max is her No. 1 concern,” a friend tells PEOPLE. “She’s making a huge effort to continuing to be a good mom through this transition for him.”

Holiday…it looks more like a pull-up. All kids are different, my daughter potty trained at 2 1/2 and my son wasn’t completly potty trained until 3 1/2 or so. Can’t believe out of this cute pic thats what you’d comment on? Pretty slow day huh
