Esai Morales Welcomes Daughter Mariana Oliveira

It’s a girl for Esai Morales!

The Caprica star and girlfriend Elvimar Silva welcomed a daughter, Mariana Oliveira Morales, on Friday, Sept. 24 in Los Angeles, they tell PEOPLE exclusively.

She weighed in at 8 lbs., 11 oz.

“I can’t think of another time in my life that I’ve been happier than now,” Morales, 47, said in a statement.

“I know it sounds so cliché but we feel incredibly blessed!”

Hahaha….so glad he had a girl. When I was 19 living in Banff this guy hanging out with Fawn Hall was always trying to pick me up ( so glad I kept saying no). Now he has a beautiful family.

I am so happy for Esai and his lady on the arrival of their new baby. Was the baby born today? If so, she was born on her daddy’s birthday. What better present is that than a new baby?
