Baby Boy on the Way for Top Chef‘s Nikki Cascone

Chef Nikki Cascone has a bun in the oven!

The Top Chef alum and husband Brad Grossman are expecting their first child — a boy — in January, she tells PEOPLE.

“Having suffered from endometriosis for several years, we feel so blessed and anxious for his arrival,” the season four contestant adds.

Fortunately, the couple will have plenty to keep themselves busy in the interim: This fall, they have plans to open Octavia’s Porch — their second restaurant in New York City.

Decorating 101: How to Go From Tot to ‘Tween on a Budget

It’s a fact of life: as our kids grow, their tastes change. That means new clothes, new favorite toys, and often, new looks for their bedrooms. But revamping your child’s room for the new schoolyear doesn’t have to be an overwrought, expensive ordeal!

We recently chatted with IKEA Design Spokesperson Janice Simonsen, who gave us some great ideas for taking kids’ bedrooms from tot to ‘tween.

Let kids select a color scheme. So maybe you don’t want the room to be lime green and neon orange — totally OK. But let your child guide the general color ideas, offering helpful suggestions along the way.

“There’s so much that can be done with just paint,” Simonsen says. “And letting kids choose the colors you ultimately use helps to give them a sense of personal space.”

What a couple of dapper dudes!

Gavin Rossdale brings son Kingston James McGregor — and a bag of Fruit Loops — along as they sat front row at the Edun Spring 2011 fashion show, held Saturday during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York City.

The 4-year-old has been spotted out and about with his rocker dad, mom Gwen Stefani and little brother Zuma all week — we saw them touring the Intrepid, as well as going incognito in Spiderman facepaint!

Stella McCartney Launches Designer Kids Collection

As if creating two super cute capsule collections for GapKids wasn’t enough, the British designer is now launching her own signature line of childrenswear, debuting this November.

“As a brand with many working parents on the team, I wanted to create a desirable, fun, wearable kid’s collection that was timeless and affordable,” shares McCartney.

Available in sizes ranging from 0 to 12 years, the Stella McCartney Kids line will include a mix of modern (updated band jackets, slim-cut jeans, floral minis) and classic (wool/cashmere peacoats, quilted field jackets, yellow rainboots) pieces crafted from the best possible fabrics.

For baby, you’ll even find organic cotton onesies in sophisticated shades of grey, cream and navy.
