Spotted: Honor Warren’s Boots Were Made for Walkin’

Ramey

Looks like that shopping bag of clothes wasn’t for Honor Marie after all!

Jessica Alba carried the present and held her 2-year-old daughter’s hand as they made their way to a pal’s birthday party on Sunday in Hollywood, Calif.

We love Honor’s swingy dress and cowboy boots!

I usually love the outfits that Jessica chooses for her daughter, but I’m not feeling that dress :/

Beautiful little girl though :)

This moment is so sweet for them. Loving Jessica and Honor’s looks, styling and their living a normal life.

I just squealed loudly at the sight of those boots!!!! I must have them.

- jessicad on

i don’t really like Honor’s dress and shoes, the dress is way to short and the boots are not for a 2 year old.
But she still looks cute

That little girl could not get any cuter! OMG!!! Adorable!!!!

Haha I dunno if it’s Honor’s long legs or just the dress being short but if she had leggings under it that were blue (baby “jeggings”) maybe it’d look better. Still adorable, and love the boots and Jessica’s dress!

Don’t like the boots or the dress at all.

Jessica looks great …… love this mommy daughter duo.

Way too short? What’s the most she going to show off? a diaper/bloomers?!

The outfit on both mom and tot are super cute! I love Honor’s boots!

Great boots! I got my first pair of cowgirl boots at age 4 (I’m from Texas lol and it was Rodeo time!) so I love these boots for kids. I like the pattern of the dress but it is too short for my taste. It doesn’t matter what it is showing off, and it’s not even a concern about perverts, I just don’t like dresses that short, on any female of any age ever. Needless to say, Honor is adorable.

Isn’t it a bit too hot for boots in L.A. at the moment. I like them but I don’t think they go together well with the dress. Oh well, if Honor is happy with her outfit, everything should be fine. :)

Honor’s a cutie! And I have to chuckle, because a poster on the previos thread was just asking if Honor ever walks on her own….and here she is, walking! :)

The hem of the dress IS short, but it is supposed to be. There are other shots of them that show Honor wearing little bloomers to match the dress. So…she is appropriately covered. I think she always looks adorable, sweet, and spot on for her age and the occasion…and this look is no different. :)

OMG!!! Honor is so unbelieveably cute…im loving the boots & dress…just a doll!!!

I love the dress and the boots. But I just know if this was Suri (when she was 2), Oh Lawdy, there would be 100+ post by now about how inappropriate her outfit is!

- dee on

The length of the dress was actually quite common when our Mothers were younger. It shows off the chunky thighs of babies/toddlers!

You can’t compare Suri’s clothing choices to Honor’s dress. Honor’s is most likely less than $40 and she’s going to a birthday party. Suri wore ball gown type dresses that were close to $200 to play on a playground.
But once again to each their own.

Dee, I think you are probably right about that and that is a shame. Because the outfit wouldnt be inappropriate if Suri wore it either. That length of dress did indeed used to be very common…think of Shirley Temple. As long as the girl is wearing bloomers or something to cover her unders I don’t feel it should be questioned. But that is just my opinion. When my girls were little and wanted to wear dresses to school I always made them wear shorts underneath. Mainly because little girls don’t always sit modestly and it is also difficult to stay properly covered while on the playground.

From the 20′s up until the 70′s the appropriate length of a girls dress was concidered to be 2 inches above the knee, so I would say, her dress is of a correct lenght. I had several dresses of that lenght that my mother and aunts wore in the 30′s-50′s, Jessicas mother probably wore dresses that lenght when she grew up. Besides, 2″ above the knee is (paired with bloomers) an ideal skirt lengtht for rowdy play as it doesn’t get in the way more than shorts or trousers. (Had to dispell the myth that little girls can’t play rowdy games in dresses, LOL)

beth, I too love Jessica’s dress and am curious where it is from. Sorry to be of no help, though!
