Casandra on

Sounds like two last names, would have been better as Edward McGreggor Roberts. But congratulations!

Sophie on

I’m defintitely not a fan of this name…:s Maybe it’s a family name.
But anyways, congratz to Bree and her husband!

Bree and Micheal, Congratulations on the birth of your son. You have choosen a beautiful name for him. Enjoy him as he will grow up faster than you want. :)

Macy on

Congrats to her!

Really hate the name though. Edward is overrated, and McGreggor is just bad – but then I dont like any of the Mc names.

Elle on

McGreggor is awesome!!! I LOVE surname first names. Congrats!

Congrats on the new baby. Not a fan of the name, though, because my first thought was this: “you may go into the fields or down the lane, but don’t go into Mr. McGregor’s garden: your Father had an accident there; he was put in a pie by Mrs. McGregor.”

LOVE the name! congratulations to her and her partner x

McGreggor?? isn’t that an SNL character?? or something else?? Sounds like a last name. Not fond of it but not my kid.

Bethan on

Congrats!

As for the name, I like it. I much prefer the spelling McGregor though, the double “g” is harsh for me. I love the possible nicknames too (Greg, Mac etc.)

McGreggor doesn’t sound like a last name, it IS a last name. And it sounds ridiculous as a first name.

CelebBabyLover on

I actually like the name. And they can always call him Greg or Mac or something. I’m sure the name has significance to them (probably a family name), and that’s the important thing. :)

MiB on

I usually don’t commment negatively on names, but I really hope that he is actually named McGregor and that it was misspelled in the announcement! I hate to see a good old scottish family name mangled like that! At least Gwen and Gavin spelled McGregor correctly!

tiffaneePATRICK on

Ummmm, that name is ridiculous. I hate it when B list celebs try to act A list and name their kids weird ugly names that the parents think are super chic and cool. THERE NOT COOL AT ALL sorry and your kid is going to be made fun of his whole life, nice parenting!

Mike on

Actually, Tiffanee, having a unique or strangely spelled name is a bonus in life, I’m sure you’d agree. And it’s true, it’s so hard to be cool when you work full time on TV show and have to live in New York – the B list is HELL! And mr. MiB, the traditional Scottish spelling is macgreggor, but the a and the g are often dropped, specially when immigrating to north America and “mc” is more often Irish. We wanted a mixture of both to match his heritage. Anyway, thanks for all the well wishes. He’s a good boy and we’re very lucky. I know it’s only a small minority of people who’d log onto a website and make fun of a cute baby’s name. Stop crying Mac, they didn’t mean it!!

lindsey on

Omg, you people are ridiculous! Why on earth would you critique a baby’s name and pass judgement on why they chose this name for the baby, instead of focusing on well wishes for Bree and her husband.

Anyway, CONGRATS on the birth of your son! Bree it looks like you are back from maternity leave and you look more beautiful than ever! Enjoy your precious bundle of joy!!!

OLTL fan on

I actually kind of like that name. Not like I would chose it for my own child but it’s okay. As long as parents are happy, and baby is healthy and happy, the name will eventually fit the baby. As long as they like it, that’s really all that matters :)

Congrats to you and your husband. That’s my birthday too and my maiden name is Roberts!
