Baby on the Way for Tony Kanal

Hey baby hey baby hey! The No Doubt family is growing.

Bassist Tony Kanal and his girlfriend Erin Lokitz have a baby on the way, the band confirms in a statement posted to their Web site.

The pair are “extremely happy to announce that they are expecting their first child early next year. The couple is overwhelmed with joy and excited to meet their new little one.”

“We’re feeding our baby a healthy diet of Bob Marley, The Clash, Prince and of course No Doubt,” Kanal, 40, adds underneath a photo of Lokitz’s pregnant belly sporting headphones.

So far, the band’s babies are a brood of boys: Gwen Stefani is mom to sons Zuma, 2, and Kingston, 4, Tom Dumont has sons Rio, 2, and Ace, 4, while Adrian Young is dad to son Mason, 8½.

Hmm, perhaps he will have the first No Doubt “Girl” offspring…seems to be alot of Boys, However that is NEVER a Bad thing, Boys are fantastic:) Congrats to the Beaming parents to Be:)

I’ve also been a ND fan for a very long time-since 1995-so 15 years now too + it’s really excited. Yes-Tony + Gwen Stefani were together for a long time in the late 80′s early 90′s. The whole “Tragic Kingdom” album is about their breakup/relationship.

I bet he will break the boy streak and have a little girl! I have a 4 year old boy and 4 month old baby girl and both genders are wonderful so its a blessing either way.
