Katherine Heigl Reports for Diaper Duty

Cheyenne Ellis/AP

Paging Katherine Heigl for diaper duty!

The former Grey’s Anatomy star and proud mama to daughter Naleigh is an expert when it comes to changing the dirty diapers.

“I’m a pro now. I can get it done real quick,” Heigl told PEOPLE at the New York press conference of Life As We Know It on Saturday.

“I am very particular with these sorts of things. I want everyone — like my husband [Josh Kelley] and the nanny — to do it exactly the way I do it. Using just the right diaper cream because I swear that’s what helps her, and the right kind of wipes and diapers — so I prefer to do it myself.”

She adds: “It’s very apparent that I’m kind of a control freak. So it’s better if I do it myself!”

Is someone feeling a kick?

The couple expect a sibling for their son Fynn, 20 months, in October. What’s their little boy like?

“He’s really gentle and whimsy … a real peacemaker. He’s been around adults quite a bit from traveling with us on the job,” Farmiga, 37, told us recently.

Thrice as Nice: Suri Cruise’s Fave Designer Dress

Fame; INF; Fame

Once, twice, three times a cute lady!

We all know how much Suri loves to dress herself. But clearly her always-chic mom, Katie Holmes, is also a big influence on the pint-size fashionista — so much so that we’ve spotted the 4-year-old wearing the same dress in three different colors (cream, red and blue) from the actress’ line, Holmes & Yang.

From the simple cut to the ruffle-trim empire waist, it’s the perfect frock for any budding stylesetter. If they sold it in grown-up sizes, we’d snap up two or three ourselves.

Want one for your little one? Go to HolmesandYang.com for order information.

“He is the baby of the family, so Rain in particular takes incredible care of her little brother,” Charvet says of his daughter’s relationship with Shaya, 2½.

“She’s always after him, making sure he’s okay, holding his hand while walking down the stairs. If he falls, she’s there to pick him up.”
