After tying the knot in May, Alanis Morissette has more big news to share — she’s pregnant.
The singer-songwriter, 36, and husband Mario ‘Souleye’ Treadway are expecting their first child, her rep confirms to PEOPLE.
“Yes, happy news … I’m pregnant,” Morissette Tweeted Wednesday morning. “We’re so excited to start our family.”
No word on a due date for the baby on the way.

It’s a boy for Rebecca Herbst!
The General Hospital actress and her husband, actor Michael Saucedo, welcomed their third child — a son named Emerson Truett Saucedo — on Monday, Aug. 9. Baby boy weighed in at 8 lbs., 4 oz.
“Becky is doing great,” the proud papa revealed via Twitter.
The new addition joins Ethan, 8½, and Ella Bailey, 6, at home.
After announcing that their family would be growing in January, Herbst, 33, admitted the news that they were expecting a boy took some getting used to for some.
“The kids went with us when we had the ultrasound done, so we were all told at the same time!” she shared. “Ethan’s thrilled. Ella will be … eventually.”

With dad Gavin Rossdale close behind, the family enjoyed the afternoon with their friends, including Ellen Pompeo, Chris Ivery and their baby daughter Stella.

Musician Ryan Tedder and wife Genevieve are new parents to a son, Copeland Cruz Tedder, his rep tells PEOPLE exclusively.
Copeland was born in the couple’s hometown of Denver, Colorado on Monday, Aug. 2.
“Mommy, Daddy and baby Tedder are all doing well!” his rep tells PEOPLE. “Daddy is sure to write another hit song from this experience.”
In addition to fronting OneRepublic, Tedder, 31, is also the songwriter and producer behind hits for artists including Beyoncé, Kelly Clarkson, Leona Lewis, Daughtry, Timbaland and Jordin Sparks.
Next up for OneRepublic: A new single, “Secrets,” and a fall tour with Maroon 5.
