Leelee Sobieski’s Big Apple Baby: Daughter Lewi!

For former teen star Leelee Sobieski, creating a nursery that her 8-month-old daughter Louisanna Ray — Lewi for short! — would find engaging was top priority.

After first considering a set of “frilly white bedding,” Sobieski, 27, and fiancé Adam Kimmel finally decided on a jungle theme. Why?

“If we were babies in a crib looking up, we’d like to see animals rather than lace!” she laughs.

And that’s lucky for Lewi, who owns at least three stuffed giraffes, including a self-standing 9-foot version.

“She touches it and she backs up laughing,” says Sobieski, who earned an  Emmy nomination in the ’90s for the TV miniseries Joan of Arc.

BumpWatch: Samantha Harris’ Belly Debut!

There’s not much to see yet, but Samantha Harris debuted the start of a bump at the premiere of The Switch on Monday evening in Los Angeles, Calif.

The Entertainment Tonight correspondent, 36, is just over four months along with her second child.

The new baby — due early next year — will join big sister Josselyn Sydney, who turns 3 in September.

Alyson Hannigan totes daughter Satyana Marie while Alexis Denisof carried the baby’s shoes — and mom’s purse! — as they left an appointment Wednesday in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Satyana, 17 months, is the first child for the How I Met Your Mother actress, 36, and her husband.

Marcia Gay Harden on the Latest Budding Actors: Her Kids!

Marcia Gay Harden certainly knows how to stay balanced.

The mom of three — 12-year-old daughter Eulala Grace and 6-year-old twins Julitta Dee and Hudson — continues to manage her award-winning career (she’s nabbed a Tony and an Oscar!) while still flying under the radar with her family in New York City.

When she’s not relaxing in the Catskill Mountains with the kids and husband Thaddaeus Scheel, Harden can be seen on the USA Network’s Royal Pains (Thursdays at 10 p.m. ET) and in the upcoming animated feature, Noah’s Ark: The New Beginning.

Harden recently spoke to PEOPLE Moms & Babies about her children (all budding actors!) and her work with Bausch + Lomb‘s new back-to-school vision screening campaign, Seeing Eye to Eye.

Miranda Kerr: Yes, I’m Pregnant!

Make room for another Victoria’s Secret supermodel mommy.

Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom are expecting their first child together, the Australian model tells the Spanish edition of Vogue in its September issue.

“Yes, I am pregnant. Four months along,” says Kerr, 27, confirming much buzz about a possible baby after the couple announced their engagement in June, then quietly wed in July.
