Looking good!

Mom to be Alanis Morissette stepped out in sunny Brentwood, Calif. on Thursday.

The singer/songwriter, 36, is expecting her first child with husband Mario ‘Souleye’ Treadway.

“I actually thought I wasn’t [pregnant at first],” Morissette told Chelsea Lately recently.

She needs to hire a stylist.

Yes, because a stylist is a pregnant woman’s biggest priority. First of all, she looks great. Second, what the heck does it matter what she’s wearing? At least she’s not flauting any body parts nobody needs to see.

Congrats to Alanis – and she looks beautiful!

I don’t think that us “normal” pregnant ladies would worry about hiring a stylist….BUT….Alanis is a celebrity and she can afford it. I think she has looked pretty unflattering in her pregnancy pics and many people have commented on that. If I were a celebrity, being photographed often, I would hire a stylist or get some fashion help.

Give her a break, she looks cool & comfy!!! I’m happy for her!!

She’s not working or promoting any projects. If she wants to be casual, more power to her. The first thing I noticed was her smile. She seems very happy with impending motherhood!

i am willing to bet that HeatherR is the one that needs a stylist

meghan- I agree!

Anonymous- I can assure you that I don’t need a stylist. Sorry if you guys felt that my comments were critical. I didn’t mean any harm. I was just expressing my opinion. There was a post about Alanis recently and several people were commenting negatively about her style. I felt sorry for her and just thought, “she can afford some help.” I agree that she looks happy and that is what matters most.

Mom Said It

"I had to make a decision that I could sleep with every night. I did feel responsible for the young girls who I probably confused and let down. I apologize for that. But I wasn't trying to glamorize teen pregnancy."
