Annie Wersching Welcomes Son Freddie

Juan Rico/Fame

Annie Wersching‘s latest mission: Motherhood.

The 24 actress gave birth to her first child with husband Stephen Full Sunday, Aug. 8 at 4:46 p.m. in Los Angeles.

Son Freddie Wersching Full, who weighs 7 lbs., 15 oz. and is 18 inches long, is quite the stunner.

“He has a full head of hair and is very calm and sweet and adorable,” Wersching’s rep tells PEOPLE exclusively. “We are all feeling great.”

Wersching, 33, who played agent Renee Walker opposite Keifer Sutherland on the Fox show, debuted her baby bump in May at the series finale party in Los Angeles.

The actress and Full, an actor and comedian, married at their Los Angeles home in September 2009.

Freddie is a nickname, not a full name.

Mira- To each their own. To them, obviously Freddie is fine as full name. :)

congrats to them. i also find it strange to name a child Freddie. may seem cute when he’s a baby but he’ll probably want a grown-up name one day.

hmmm Freddie Full I’m not sure they thought that one out all the way

I do like the name Freddie (if only because of my favorite footballer, Freddie Ljugberg) but not loving Freddie Full.

Freddie is cute, but not with Full, but then again, not a lot goes with Full does it? So why not go with your fav name.

You know what I always find funny? That, when a celeb gives their child a “nickname” first name, people say things like, “That’s a nickname, not a full name!” or “They should have given that child a proper name!”. Yet when a celeb gives their child a “full” name but calls them by a nickname, people say they should have just gone with the nickname.

For example, if Annie and Stephen had announced that they named their son Frederick but were going to call him Freddie, I can guarantee that people would have been saying things like, “If you’re going to call him Freddie, then name him Freddie!” Seriously, celebs just can’t win either way!

On a lighter note, I think Freddie sounds fine with Full…..But I just hope, if they have daughter some day, they don’t name her Delight! :) And also, I love how Freddie’s middle name is his mother’s last/madien name (I have no idea whether or not Annie goes by Full in her personal life)!

Congrats to Annie and her husband!

"I've always wanted more children and [I] had to make a decision: Do I wait to find the right partner or do it on my own? I was open to either gender and started the process two years ago."
