Busy Philipps ‘Can’t Blame’ Birdie for Love of Princesses

Cougar Town actress Busy Philipps is no pushover when it comes to raising daughter Birdie Leigh, 23 months — but even she has a breaking point!

“I’m sort of like a hippie, and I really tried with the carved wooden blocks and the organic toys and the non-toxic, not-made-in-China things,” she reveals in the summer issue of Mom.

“Then at a certain point, Birdie came home from the park and she wanted Ariel and she wanted Cinderella.”

After admitting “I kind of love that stuff, too,” Philipps says she eased her stance on princess culture. “I can’t blame her,” she adds. “You do the best that you can.”

While shooting an episode of Tori Spelling‘s reality show Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood on Thursday, Guncles Bill Horn and Scout Masterson — and the proud aunt! — posed for a photo with 6-week-old daughter Simone.

“We are in awe of Simone and thrilled that our dream of becoming parents has finally come true,” the couple told PEOPLE last month.

The New Gloved Ones? Seinfeld Boys Dress like Baseball Stars ‘Every Single Day’

Most kids insist on picking out their own outfit to wear, and Jerry and Jessica Seinfeld’s sons Julian, 7, and Shepherd, 5, are no different.

However, their choice is a little less uniform than most.

“Our two sons wear full baseball uniforms to camp, to school, every single day,” Jessica told PEOPLE at the grand opening of the East Harlem Target store July 20.

“They even wear the batting gloves in the back pocket.”

Though many parents may gawk at the idea, Mets fans Jessica and Jerry, who are also parents to 9-year-old daughter Sascha, think it’s hilarious.

“They literally live as though they are in Major League Baseball,” says Jessica. “They truly channel the players that they love.”

So cute! Vida Alves McConaughey, 6 months, got a kick out of watching big brother Levi explore the playground safely from mom Camila Alves‘ arms, when the trio stopped off at Malibu Country Mart on Wednesday.

Is the 2-year-old taking after his actor dad Matthew McConaughey? When Levi realized he was being photographed, he played it up for the paparazzi!

Spotted: Liev Schreiber and Sons Get Down with the Ducks

Day with dad!

It was a boy’s day out for Liev Schreiber and his sons Alexander ‘Sasha’ Pete — who celebrates his 3rd birthday Sunday — and Samuel Kai, 19 months, as the trio got up close and personal with some friendly ducks at a Brentwood park on Wednesday. Afterward, the towheaded tots took a turn on the tire swing before hitching a ride home on Dad’s hip!
