Neal McDonough: Why I Lose My Pants in Public!

For father-of-three Neal McDonough, it’s not where, but how he raises his family that truly counts.

“There will be temptations for any kids no matter where you bring them up,” the actor, whose family lives among the glitz and glamour of Hollywood, tells Mom‘s summer issue.

“Constant monitoring is crucial. [My wife] Ruvé and I spend a lot of time with them all.”

And while that bonding with the couple’s new baby London Jane, 6 months, often entails changing a lot of diapers — an excellent way for fathers to spend time with baby if mom breastfeeds, says McDonough — when it comes to Morgan Patrick, 4½, and Catherine Maggie, 3, those special moments aren’t so simple.

“For some reason, my kids love to yank down my shorts in public, especially when London is in my arms!” the former Desperate Housewives star, 44, says, adding that he embraces all aspects of fatherhood.

BumpWatch: Christina Applegate Debuts Her Belly!

Jason Merritt/Getty

Looking good!

Actress Christina Applegate belted her blossoming bump at the premiere of Cats and Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore in Hollywood, Calif. on Sunday.

“One thing that’s been really important is trying to not be stressed out or let other people stress you out. It’s not about you anymore, it’s about the bump,” she told PEOPLE’s Moms & Babies.

And what has Applegate been up to since the big announcement? Nothing, she jokes!

“Yeah, I don’t have any work, at all,” she laughs. “And now that everyone knows about this, I probably won’t have any work for the rest of the year.”

Applegate, 38, and her fiancé Martyn Lenoble — who were engaged on Valentine’s Day — announced that they are expecting their first child last week.

Bridget Moynahan: Balancing Act Is Easier with ‘Really Good Help’

Stephen Lovekin/Getty

With a new movie, a new television series and a toddler to care for, Bridget Moynahan certainly has a lot on her plate. The secret to her success?

“Really good help,” Moynahan, 39, confesses to the Boston Herald. “You have to have the friends and family and support system to make it all work, to remind you of your priorities.”

Now one of those priorities is making family friendly films like Ramona & Beezus, now playing.

“I think there’s a lot of kids movies, I’m certainly aware of it now, and even music that are geared to children and they’re inappropriate,” she says.

“I think this movie delivers on what it says it is. Families going to it are not going to be shocked, and it’s not material they’re going to be worried about.”

Liev Schreiber: Actors Make Amazing Parents

Saleem Elatab-AhmadElatab/Splash News Online

Actors Liev Schreiber and Naomi Watts have learned that even the best laid plans can go awry.

When the couple realized that their youngest son Samuel Kai, 19 months, was too little to go on a planned vacation with friends, Watts was the first to suggest Schreiber go on ahead while she stayed behind with the boys, including older son Sasha, who turns 3 on Sunday.

“We were afraid that Kai was too young, so she was just really sweet and said, ‘Go dive. Go do this with your friends,’” the Salt actor, 42, reveals in an interview with New York.

However, it wasn’t long before the separation from his sons got the best of Schreiber. “Nai sent [a picture of Sasha in an astronaut helmet] to me when I was on the boat because I just missed him so much,” he recalls.

Angelina Jolie: ‘I Want Everything’

Jim Smeal/BEImages

With the death of her mom Marcheline Bertrand in 2007, Angelina Jolie says she came to view her own role as a mom-of-six — and partner to actor Brad Pitt – a bit differently.

“There is something about the years passing where you really appreciate life more each day,” she explains to the Chicago Sun-Times.

“The amazing part is you have a history with the people you love. And it becomes important for you to stay healthy and age gracefully.”

“I want to see my grandkids,” Jolie, 35, adds. “I want to see my children grown and spend the years with Brad. I want everything.”
