Spotted: Padma Lakshmi and Krishna Take Flight

Pacific Coast News

Sporting plenty of protection, Krishna Thea Lakshmi boards a helicopter with mom Padma Lakshmi on Friday in New York City.

The Top Chef host says her 4-month-old daughter is a “delight in every way.”

“Her personality is bubbling forth,’ notes Lakshmi, 39.

“I think we all egotistically say she has the eyes of this person or the humor of that person. I’m sure that’s true but when I look at Krishna, I think of her. I don’t see other people.”

Crystal Bowersox: Balancing Motherhood and Music Is Hard

Winslow/Massie/Splash News Online

American Idol runner-up Crystal Bowersox has seemingly mastered motherhood by day, musician by night, but now that she’s heading out on tour, the singer is preparing herself for a new routine — without her 17-month-old son Tony by her side.

“People don’t realize that before Idol, I gigged a lot. I used to play four one-hour shows a night, five nights a week in Chicago and Ohio,” Bowersox, 24, tells PARADE.

“But on the Idol tour, I’m just doing four songs a show. The traveling is going to be the hard part. Also, the fact that my son’s not coming with me.”

Kevin James Reveals Daughter Shea’s Namesake

Claudia Daniels/Elevation

For Kevin James and his wife Steffianna de la Cruz, there was no last-minute scramble to find a name when the couple welcomed their second daughter Shea Joelle in 2007; The actor/comedian and New York Mets aficionado was well prepared!

“I grew up with them and I kind of just threw it out to my wife as a name, as a possibility, and not mentioning about the stadium or the franchise behind it,” James, 45, tells The Billy Bush Show.

“And then I had to confess later and tell her it was after the baseball team, the stadium.”

Since Shea’s birth however, the stadium’s name has changed — and James jokes the 3-year-old’s moniker will soon follow!

“Now it’s Citi Field, so I have to change her name. So we’re going through the paperwork now,” he laughs.
