Spotted: Jennifer Garner’s Mini Magicians

Ramey

Abracadabra!

It was a magical day out for Jennifer Garner and her daughters Violet Anne, 4½, and Seraphina Rose Elizabeth, 18 months, when they stopped off at Magicopolous in Santa Monica on Thursday.

The actress and her girls took in a few magic shows, before checking out the goods at the register!

The trio have joined dad Ben Affleck back in Calif. after a brief trip to New York City.

Wow, her girls are just gorgeous. No more words can describe them . . . simply beautiful.

I don’t understand why people (pun intended) think they have the right to follow stars and their children (who by the way aren’t adults) just to make a buck. And, just because the public has an insane need to know such things — doesn’t make it right.

So “glad” to hear how they spent their day.

Would be great if sites would stick to public events and such. Might as well paint a target on their heads. How would you feel.

Any remorse?

- Betsy on

is her shirt weird or is she preggo

- cassie on

Cute kids.

- Cynthia on

this may be the first picture of Violet I’ve seen that I can see Ben in her. I have always just seen her as a minature Jen. One of my fav celeb families!!

- Alyssa on

No. No remorse. :)

- kitty on

I’ve always thought Violet looks exactly like Anna Paquin.

- Tess on

Cassie – in the last two pics I saw of her from NYC, she looked preggers, unless it’s magically the shirts. Is it me or does Violet look like a mini-Darryl Hannah?

- harley on

Violet is Gorgeous!

- Jacqui on

Betsy, if you don’t like the pictures you shouldn’t come to the site encouraging them. I have no remorse. As long as they are in public and no on is physically being hurt, I have no problems with it. That is the choice they make when they become celebrities.

Jen has been pregnant for the last year.

- Jill on

‘Jill’ – LOL

Cute little girls, always so busy with mom. Brings back so many memories of me with my daughter – a lot of years ago. :)

- Sam on

I saw these pics on a different site too, and had to laugh because the blogger said something along the lines of “wow! Seraphina is standing all on her own” or something…
She’s 18 months! OF COURSE she’s standing on her own!

(not to say that at 18 months a child might NOT be standing on her own, but it’s typical and in the normal range that by 18 months a child is standing and walking. At 18 months if a child is not, he/she is usually monitored by or referred to a physical therapist or some other specialist).

- Mrs. R on

I saw these pictures on another blog and saw what looked like Seraphina’s car seat that swiveled. Is there a car seat that swivels to take your kid in and out???

- Melissa Snyder on

Who makes Seraphina’s shoes because they are ADORABLE!?!?!!?

- Sara on

Jill- “Jen has been pregnant for the last year.” LOL! Very good point! Jen just seems to be one of those celeb moms who tend to look pregnant a lot after having kids (people swore she was pregnant several times between Violet’s birth and her pregnancy with Seraphina, too). :)

- CelebBabyLover on

Jill- I also meant to add that, in regards to the first part of your comment, yes, Ben and Jen chose public life when they become celebs….However, Violet and Sera definitely did not. So I can see where that one poster was coming from.

- CelebBabyLover on

Sera’s hair is getting darker and darker. Maybe she’ll have Jen’s color one day. I am also repeating myself, but: I still think these two girls are two of the most beautiful and cutest celeb kids! Loev Jen & the kids.

- Jaedyn on

See that’s my point, Jen and Ben chose to be in entertainment. But not the kids. And, sure they chose to be in the business but I doubt that included being chased in their cars by paparazzi, endangering them and others. And, being followed 24/7 — I think because of tech things have gotten quite a bit worse since everyone has cameras etc.

Kids should be off limits when doing everyday things. Snap away at events or when the parents give ok. IMO, the fact that they aren’t injured (thankfully) doesn’t make it ok, They are stalked. Can’t do any normal things. Would they average parent want their kids photographed. No.

People think they are just THINGS. And, just a way to see — oooh, her shirt is from Target. Look at the book bag. I can’t believe that mom is wearing that.

- Betsy on

Betsy, you just clicked on this page at least twice. Every time you click you generate money for the website. From that money the site buys the photos say you don’t want to see. From the page views they decide which celebs are popular.

- Anna on

Betsy, whether you feel it is wrong or not there are millions of people who think it’s fine. You can stop coming here if you’d like to stop supporting it.

I think she’s a celebrity, knows she’s going to be followed and knows her children will have their photos taken. If she doesn’t want that she should give her millions away to charity and go live in some small subdivision in the Dakotas.

- Sky on

Violet and Sera are both absolutely precious. As for the concept of photographing children, I see it from both sides. Yes, their parents live in the public eye. Yes, the children didn’t make that choice. I enjoy looking at pictures of them but it does bother me when I see a parent that is clearly angry at the aggressiveness of the photographers or a child that is obviously scared of the attention. For example, a recent photo of Hallie Berry and her daughter showed that aggressiveness. I wish that there was a way for laws to be put into place as to where photographs can be taken. In the meantime, I simply pray that nobody gets hurt and enjoy looking at pictures of Jennifer and Ben’s beautiful family.

i don’t understand the idea that we should turn a blind eye to things when we we feel something is wrong. is that how we are supposed to lead our lives?

i do not visit this site often, but when I do I feel absolutely horrible for doing so. i am contributing to this problem. i am trying to take responsibility for my role in this. it’s difficult to understand how some justify their intrusion into the personal lives of families. some of the comments make it seem like it’s their right to see pictures of celebrity children.

look at that little girl’s face in the picture. she looks scared, and look at her mother. all that is being overlooked and accepted as the price for celebrity. that logic doesn’t make sense. there is something wrong here. no one is talking about the worried expressions on violet and jen’s face in the picture…they talk about shoes, hair color, and speculate on pregnancy. it’s disturbing.

it’s even more wrong when most of the posts ignore the comment addressing the issue, or justify their behavior.

- mimmey on

sky–your logic is ridiculous. so jen’s children are fair price for her career choice and income?

millions of people think lots of things are right. doesn’t make them right.

- mimmey on

I don’t see anyone looking scared in this photo. Violet looks curious and Jennifer looks concentrated, maybe a little annoyed.

And it does have to do with the money. They don’t get millions per movie because it’s such hard work, it’s because they give up a part of private life.

Also many celebs are almost never seen, so it can be done.
