Cute Alert! The Little Seed Debuts Eco-Friendly Collection at Target

We’ve always loved The Little Seed‘s bright eco-friendly baby basics and essential mommy supplies — they’re cute and easy to mix and match.

Now, the California-based brand just got way more accessible (and affordable!):

Founders Soleil Moon Frye and Paige Goldberg Tolmach have created a line for Target!

“We’ve been working on this all year,” Frye tells PEOPLE Moms & Babies. “It’s a dream come true.”

In stores since July 4, The Little Seed for Target collection features everything from cozy hooded towels and blankets to comfy onesies, pants, caps and more, in a variety of vibrant colors for babies sizes 0 to 12 months.

“You can go in and really get a piece to suit your lifestyle,” Tolmach says. Adds Frye, “It’s all about layering. Parents can buy three pairs of pants and three onesies, and create so many outfits. It’s hip and fun.”

Another bonus? Each piece is 100 percent organic and comes in sparse (but pretty) eco-friendly packaging, which not only minimizes waste but gives consumers the chance to touch what they’re about to buy. “It was important to us to let moms feel it,” Tolmach says.

More importantly, the line is kid-approved. “I put everything on my girls first, because they’re certainly the models,” Frye says of daughters Poet, 4½, and Jagger, 2.

“I ask them what their favorite colors are, what feels comfy. If Poet loves it, I know kids across the country will love it.”

The Little Seed for Target collection will be available on target.com and in select Target stores from July 4 through Oct. 14.

That stuff is plain, plain plain. I like the idea of organic clothing, but I question the quality of the clothing from target(from personal experience).

Nothing special!

I don’t usually have a problem with the quality of the clothes I have gotten for my daughter at Target, but I think that these items are priced a bit too high — especially for Target. $8 for a single, plain onesie is more than I would ever spend. I have basically told myself that I won’t pay more than $5 for any item of clothing for my kids while they are at the baby stage (except special occasion clotes). I get that it’s Organic material, but the cost just isn’t worth it for me.

I see a blue Gerber onesie and green Circo pants. I do like buying things from Target. They usually last me through 2 kids, in addition to handing them down to a friend. you can’t beat that for the low price.

if you complain about the quality, you need to remember YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. target has very low price clothes so don’t expect them to last for life.

and yes, these clothes are plain. so what? not everyone likes obnoxious and pointless designs like animals and sports and random drawings.

The prices may seem high but, you need to keep in mind that just about everything organic and eco-friendly costs a little bit more.

just saw the line at Target. Some stripes or something would be nice. I really wouldn’t buy my kid 2 bold pieces like that in different colors with nothing on them.

Hmmm seems a bit boring… It took them a year to design that?? I’d want a bit more style for the price…
