Maggie Rodriguez Welcomes Son Michael Tobin

It’s a boy for Maggie Rodriguez!

The Early Show co-anchor delivered son Michael Tobin Rodriguez Jr. on Sunday, June 13 at 6:20 p.m., weighing in at 7 lbs., 1 oz. He joins big sister Daniella, 5.

“It was love at first sight! Daddy Mike, big sister Daniella and I feel blessed to have such a special addition to our family,” Rodriguez, 40, wrote in an e-mail to friends and family.

She and husband Michael Rodriguez announced the pregnancy in January. Her due date had been July 1.

Congratulations to Lola Rose Sheen, who is now a proud preschool graduate!

Mom Denise Richards posted this photo of her girly grad posing in a pink cap and gown on Friday, adding, “This is too cute!”

The perfectly paired look is one not normally seen on her girls, Richards admits!

“I let my kids be kids,” the actress, 39, said recently of her daughters with ex-husband Charlie Sheen.

“If they put together an outfit that’s mismatched, I let them wear it. To them, it looks good and I love that.”

Teri Hatcher and daughter Emerson Rose, 12, snapped a few photos with Minnie Mouse at the debut of the World of Color water spectacular at Disney’s California Adventures park on Thursday evening in Anaheim, Calif.

The Desperate Housewives star, 45, recently said that being a single mom has meant making some sacrifices, but she’s satisfied with her choices.

“My daughter’s old enough now that it’s easier, more guilt-free [to have a social life], but there have been some lonely nights. I wouldn’t change that.”

Kate Hudson’s Son Ryder: Already a Ladies Man!

Kate Hudson isn’t the only member of her family whose love life is making news. Her son Ryder Russell, 6, is already quite the kindergarten Casanova.

“Ryder told me on Sunday that he’s six years old now, but that when he was two, he had a girlfriend who was six years old,” said actor Colin Egglesfield at an event to celebrate ELLE magazine’s Women in Music issue last week in NYC. “He definitely goes for the older women.”

Egglesfield got Ryder’s romantic update hanging out with him on the set of Something Borrowed, which also stars Ginnifer Goodwin and John Krasinski, whom he calls “a nonstop joke machine.”

And while Egglesfield plays the guy onscreen BFFs Hudson and Goodwin are fighting over, life off-camera sounds a lot lighter— especially with Ryder around.

“Between takes, Kate will just start singing,” Egglesfield said. “And she’s an amazing dancer. I taught her everything I know.”
