Look for Less: Jaden Smith’s Thriller Style!

NCNA/Ramey

At last week’s Karate Kid premiere, Willow wasn’t the only one in the Smith family to rock the red carpet.

Big bro Jaden made his own fashion statement a la Michael Jackson.

The 11-year-old was decked out in a custom designed Thriller-inspired jacket, Brooks Brothers shirt ($59.50), Nicolina Royale bow tie ($150), Volcom jeans ($50), custom Supra Society Sneakers ($144), Dalla Nonna Calendar bracelet ($125), Ray Ban Junior sunglasses ($59) and a Neighborhood pocket chain ($150).

We loved his cute — and kid appropriate — homage to the King of Pop so much we rounded up a similar outfit, with pieces all under $140.

Christina Aguilera Refuses to ‘Raise a Brat’

Flynet

Having celebrated his second birthday in January, Christina Aguilera is allowing son Max Liron to test the waters of toddlerhood — to a point.

“No child is terrible. When you’re at that age you’re just learning how to express yourself and balance all these emotions and feelings,” she tells Billy Bush of the infamous terrible twos.

“I’m definitely an understanding mom … but discipline is a big thing for me too. I’m not raising no brat!”

Despite the cancellation of her Bionic tour, Aguilera, 29, insists that when the day comes to hit the road, Max will be by her side.

“I’ve got my mommy concerns, you know, bedtime and schedules and time differences,” she admits.

“It’s going to be a little crazy and a little cranky at times I’m sure, but I’m not the first person to do it and I won’t be the last. We’ll find our comfort zone with it.”

Taraji P. Henson: ‘The Family Unit Is Better Than One Parent’

Juan Rico/Fame

Life as a single mom has not been without challenges, and it’s something Taraji P. Henson stresses to her 16-year-old son Marcel.

Although “he’s always had male camaraderie” in his life, Marcel “needs a woman beside him [when he has kids],” the Karate Kid star tells Babble. “The family unit is better than one parent.”

With that said, while Henson, 39, is realistic about the lives of teenagers, “Twitter and sex stuff” remain off limits to Marcel.

“You have to pay attention to what they’re doing/reading/watching because this world is a very different world than when I grew up,” she notes. “They have all this information at their fingertips, and you have to pay attention — with eyes wide open.”
