Katherine Heigl ‘Had No Idea’ How Tough Working Motherhood Is

The decision to depart ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy was a direct result of Katherine Heigl‘s movie career, she says in a new interview with the Telegraph — but the two aren’t connected in the way most might think.

While en route to the Atlanta set of her new film Killers, the actress learned that she would welcome daughter Naleigh, now 18 months, two months earlier than expected.

“I thought, ‘I can do this,’” she recalls. “My mom was going to be there a lot. [Husband] Josh [Kelley] was going to be back and forth from Nashville, where he was just starting his album, which was just a two-hour drive away. I have a wonderful nanny. No problem.”

Nigel Barker’s Father’s Day Wish List

Dad of two Nigel Barker has a lot to celebrate this Father’s Day: his beautiful kids Jack and Jasmine, a new book (Nigel Barker’s Beauty Equation) and the continued success of America’s Next Top Model, on which he serves as a judge.

Sherri Shepherd Fears Relationship With Future Daughter-in-Law

Her son Jeffrey Charles just turned five in April, but Sherri Shepherd is already determined to have a close relationship with her future daughter-in-law.

“I want my daughter-in-law to say, ‘You’ve got a great mother!’ I’m afraid my daughter-in-law is going to hate me,” she tells Babble.

Unfortunately, The View co-host jokes, if her recent feelings of jealousy toward Jeffrey’s playmate is a clue as to what’s to come, the bond may not be so easy!

“I kiss Jeffrey on the lips and tell him, ‘Only Mommy and Daddy can kiss you on the lips.’ And this morning, I go to kiss him and he gives me the cheek,” she shares.

“And I was like, ‘Who kisses you on the lips?’ And he says, ‘Amy!’ I’m thinking, ‘Who’s this bitch?!’ I was not happy. I don’t mean to call a 5-year-old a bitch, but I got angry!”
