BumpWatch: Mario Lopez and Courtney Mazza – Viva Las Vegas!

Jacob Andrzejczak/WireImage

Soaking in the sun, Mario Lopez and girlfriend Courtney Mazza — who are expecting their first child in September — strike a pose as they host an afternoon at the Liquid Pool Lounge at the Aria Resort and Casino Saturday in Nevada.

What’s the best advice the dad-to-be, 36, has received so far?

“Get as much sleep as you can now,” the author and TV host tells PEOPLE Moms & Babies.

“I’ve heard you just kind of know what to do after a while and instincts kick in after that. You have to be patient, and I’m pretty good at that.”

Matthew Settle: Aven’s a Cultured Cutie

DMAR/Splash News Online

It’s been a bumpy year for Gossip Girl star Matthew Settle, but one thing hasn’t changed: His love for his 15-month-old daughter, Aven Angelica.

“She’s doing great,” he told PEOPLE Moms & Babies at last week’s Institute for Civic Leadership 2010 Spring Benefit in New York City.

“She’s running all over the place. I took her to the Museum of Natural History the other day and everyone had to get out of the way because she was so excited. She was so thrilled to see all the dioramas you couldn’t stop her. It’s really fun to see. She was screaming with joy.”
