Mom-to-be Georgina Chapman — who’s due in late August with a baby girl — posed at the Twilight: Eclipse Screening, held Monday at the Crosby Hotel in New York City.

Is the Marchesa designer, 34, experiencing any cravings?

“Nothing,” she tells New York. “And I’m nearing the end and nothing exciting has happened.”

Chapman says she and husband Harvey Weinstein haven’t chosen a name for their daughter yet, either.

“I want to meet her first,” she laughed.

I have no idea who she is but, she’s been making some knock-out styling choices. Gorgeous.

Ibis1996 on

She’s the co-founder of the Marchesa fashion label.

her baby bump is so tiny!

Amber on

I am due August 21st, and let me tell you, I am envious of her barely there bump! She looks gorgeous and happy, though…

jeepers on

My baby bump was that size at 4 months, and got about 6 times that size by 9 months. How do all these women have such timy tummies?

lulu on

If I do ever get pregnant this is how i want to look… stunning

molly on

Is she even eating? She doesnt look healthly at all, being 7 months pregnant. If she’s not eating her baby will not get any nutrition. Please ladies dont be jealous of her barely there tummy, and enjoy your healhtly tummies and babies !

CelebBabyLover on

molly- I’m sure she’s fine. Every woman carries differently. Nicole Kidman and Gisele Bundchen each carried super-small for most of their pregnancies, too….and gave birth to healthy babies! :) And really, do you honestly think Georgina would put her unborn baby in harm’s way?

That being said…..Has Georgina actually confirmed she’s having a girl? I thought she said she didn’t know the sex and was just using “she” to refer to the baby?

Lee on

@Molly, how do you know she’s unhealthy? I think you are clueless about pregnancy. Not all women get a big stomach and their babies are healthy. For you to accuse her of starving her baby of nutrition is too much and just shows how little you really know about health.

Please don’t always assume that she is not healthy just because she is tiny (has a tiny belly). It doesn’t mean anything. I can say that my mum looked exactly the same around that stage of pregnancy when she had me back then and everything was perfectly fine. I was a tiny baby, but that was all, I was perfectly healthy. My mum is a rather small woman as well and maybe Georgina Chapman isn’t the tallest either, who knows. Even if not, I bet she is having a normal diet and baby girl is just fine:).

Just wanted to add my two cents in since I am also 7+ months pregnant and due August 25th with a baby girl. This is my second pregnancy and I have carried “small” for both of them. People used to make me uncomfortable when they’d comment on how small I was and sometimes implied things might not be “a-ok”. At each of my ob appointments, my belly measures spot on and my doc has told me not to worry that all women carry differently. I am active and eat healthy and haven’t gain a lot of excessive weight.

My daughter, now 3, was an 8 pounder and I’m expecting this new baby to be about the same size.

I think Georgina looks stunning and healthy! Lets keep in mind that at 7 months, the baby is approx 4 pounds, so why should she be huge? Keep doing whatever you’re doing Georgina because you look fabulous and, to me, perfectly healthy!

Wow, I’m also due in Aug and so much bigger than her.
I can now see how that show “I didn’t know I was pregnant” can have women who really don’t show but still end up with healthy full term babies.

Electra on

It could also just be the garment she’s wearing.

I am also due (with a boy) at the end of August, and I look like I am smuggling a basketball! all the weight I have gained is in my belly. I have random strangers ask if it’s twins, or even better, “You’ll never make it to August.” Can’t win either way!

Julia on

I carried all three of mine the same way — so small that strangers would ask me if “things are okay” when they heard my due date. I didn’t tell co-workers that I was PG with #3 until I was 26 wks, and NO ONE guessed. But all three kiddos are perfectly healthy — my last one was a week late and nearly 9 lbs, but in the right clothes, you couldn’t be sure I was PG. Our bodies are all different and respond differently to pregnancy. I think she looks stunning!

Jen on

Molly,

Your comment was rude and uneducated.

Jenn on

Isn’t she a little small for seven months? I don’t even think Gisele was THAT small at that stage.

Janna on

There’s another picture of her on another site wearing the same outfit where she looks bigger than she does here. It’s probably the angle the photo was taken from.

Seriously though… are there still people who think that something must be wrong if someone carries really small or really big? Expand your view of the world! We’re all different, we all carry our babies differently.

And unless you personally know someone, is it seriously rude to suggest someone is unhealthy or not eating.

Jacqui on

I don’t mind that Molly is giving her opinion here on a blog, but it really is rude when people say things about your size to your face when you are pregnant, be it small or large. People, the only thing you should say to a pregnant lady is “congratulations!” or “I’m happy for you, you look beautiful!”

Rye on

She looks STUNNING! I can’t believe how tiny she is too! Wow! Also, I had no idea what Harvey Weinstein looked like but I just googled him and all I can say is he must have a wonderful personality.

Jen on

Molly didn’t just give her opinion. She made a judgement about something she knows nothing about.

But Jacqui, you’re right. When I was pregnant, I carried very small right up until the very end. Several times, late into my second and then into my third trimester, when strangers would ask how far along I was and when I would tell them, they would say something along the lines of “You’re awfully small, are you sure your baby is ok?” Clearly, these people have no understanding of appropriate manners.

FWIW, I always measured right on track and my daughter was 7lb 9oz.

The only appropriate thing to say to a woman is “Congratulations, you look great/beautiful/amazing/wonderful”

m-dot on

She looks beautiful!

"I had to make a decision that I could sleep with every night. I did feel responsible for the young girls who I probably confused and let down. I apologize for that. But I wasn't trying to glamorize teen pregnancy."
