Ellen Pompeo brings daughter Stella Luna along to her class at Golden Bridge Yoga in Los Angeles, Calif. on Friday.

The 9-month-old is the first child for the Grey’s Anatomy star, 40, and husband Chris Ivery.

“Being a mother is magical,” Pompeo told PEOPLE Moms & Babies recently.

“I live a very blessed life and I could go on for days on how amazing my daughter is. She’s so great. She’s just starting to get a personality and she’s definitely a charmer.”

It’s pretty clear that there is no rear facing car seat installed in that car. They are quite big and at least a portion of it would be seen behind her.
It’s sad how parents are so careful not to leave their young children in a bath tub alone but when it comes to the number 1 killer of children (car crashes) they are so ignorant.

Lorus, you are making some accusations with little information. How do you know that her daughter wasn’t sitting in the third row of the car or that the car seat is out of the car? I don’t know about you, but we took our daughter and car seat out of the car. She may have had the baby in the car seat in the stroller and decided to let people take a picture. There a lot of scenarios than her being a careless parent.

It looks to me like she is small enough for an infant car seat, which would not be as visible as a rear facing toddler seat. It could also be that the car seat was already on the stroller (outside the car) and Ellen and Stella sat down in the car to nurse undisturbed. Just because we don’t see the car seat doesn’t mean there isn’t any.
